ALZO HORIZONTAL CAMERA MOUNT (HCM)
USER GUIDE AND APPLICATIONS
OVERHEAD PHOTOGRAPHY
The demonstration on the left shows the ALZO HCM mounted
to an ALZO Ball Head Tripod over the ALZO 300 Table Top
Studio. The HCM is positioning the camera over the ALZO
24" Platform. This combination is perfect for shadow less
overhead photography. The camera includes an articulating
LCD display for easy image framing.
We recommend using a wireless shutter release when using
this equipment for overhead photography.
The ALZO Horizontal Camera Mount consists of a 33" long x
5/8" diameter solid aluminum bar with a universal camera
screw on one end and the tripod clamp. The tripod clamp has
a thumb screw to allow the camera/bar to be horizontally
positioned and rotated.
The ALZO HCM has a grooved end opposite the camera
mount end that can be used to hang a counter weigh to
balance the rig and stabilize the camera. We recommend
using a water bottle and string as this allows for easy weight
adjustment for perfect balance.
Maximum recommended camera weight is 2 lbs without
counter balance. With a counter balance the maximum
recommended camera weight is 8 lbs
CAMERA INSIDE A PHOTO TENT
In this Tent product imaging application the ALZO
Horizontal Camera Mount allows the camera to
shoot overhead inside the imaging Tent. A camera
with an articulating LCD viewfinder allows for easy
image preview.
In this application a wireless shutter release is
essential as it is difficult to access the camera
shutter inside the tent.
