YOUR FILTER JUG INSTRUCTIONS
• Wash the lid, jug and funnel in warm soapy water.
• Immerse filter cartridge in ambient water. Shake the cartridge
under the water to remove any trapped air bubbles. Abrasion of
the filter material during transport may cause loose particles and
carbon dust to be lost during this process. This is quite normal
and will not affect per formance of your filter. (Note: Carbon is
food grade and not harmful.) Leave the cartridge to soak for 20
minutes.
• Insert cartridge into funnel. Press down firmly to ensure a tight
seal. The filter should stay in place when water is poured from
the jug.
• Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow it to filter through.
Once filtered through discard of the water or use to water a
plant. Repeat this process again. This will prime your filter for
use and flush through excess carbon particles. It is normal for
carbon dust to be expelled during this process.

FILTER REPLACEMENT REMINDER
• The Filter Reminder will remind you when to change your
Aquaport filter, and is located on the lid of your filter jug.
Underneath the lid is the reminder dial. Turn the dial in a
clockwise direction and line up the month and date closest to
when you are replacing the filters to the arrow relevant to the
number of persons in the household (single, double or family).
At the top of the lid, it will indicate the month and approximate
date on when to replace filters.

MAINTENANCE
• For best results always ensure that the water in the jug is always
in contact with filter cartridge. In the event of the cartridge dr ying
out repeat second step of Instructions for Filter Jug.
• Keep water filter out of direct sunlight.
• Wash the parts of your filter system regularly in warm soapy
water, at least ever y time you change the filter cartridge
CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
• The cartridge is the heart of the water filter jug. To ensure
performance is not diminished you should replace the filter
cartridge every 2 months or after dispensing approximately
150L of water. Which ever occurs first.
• Cartridge life depends on the quality of local water.
• We recommend replacing cartridge with Aquaport AQP-FCR3 filter
cartridges or AQP-FCR-AO2 Anti Oxidant filter cartridges.
• If you have trouble removing the filter cartridge, remove the
funnel from the jug. Push upwards on the filter cartridge from the
base with your fingers. The filter should move upwards into the
funnel enabling it to be removed easily.
• Record the month you replace the filter cartridge.
IMPORTANT TIPS
• Do not filter hot or boiling water through your filter jug.
• You may see a small amount of black particles in the top of the
funnel at times; these are small pieces of carbon from the filter.
These carbon particles are food grade and are not harmful. They
will not impair the performance of your filter.

Your Aquaport 12 Month Replacement Warranty
Aquaport warrants this appliance to the first purchaser
and subject to the stated conditions:
Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in the
manufactured product within the first twelve months from the
date of purchase.
To make a warranty claim you must call Aquaport on
toll free number 1300 764 325 for instructions.
If a product is found to be faulty there is a 90 day return policy
from the date of purchase. Product returned to store MUST
be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase and Customer
Reference number received from Aquaport.
Call 1300 764 325.
For warranty claims outside of 90 days from date of purchase,
product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Warranty does not cover filter cartridge which is a consumable.

Conditions Of This Warranty:
1. This product has been fully installed in accordance with the
user manual installation instructions.
2. The warranty extends only to repairing or replacing any
component that proves to be defective in material or
workmanship.
3. The warranty does not cover defects occasioned by misuse,
alterations, accidents, or used for other than the intended
purpose.
4. The warranty does not cover use of this product where water
is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, without
adequate disinfection before or after the system.
5. The warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by
accident, fire, or floods.
6. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
