 • Weadvisetoplaceaheatresistantcoatingbetweenyourtableand

 • Becarefulwithoilandfatpreparationsbecausetheymightcatchre

byoverheating.Provideproperventilationwhenusingtheappliance.

 • Caution:Donot,underanycircumstances,coverthegrillrackwith

aluminiumfoil,barbecuedishesorotheritems,astheresultingbuild-up

FIRST USE

 • Taketheapplianceandaccessoriesoutthebox.

Removethestickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice. 

 • Cleanbeforetherstusethegrillwithawetcloth. 

 • Byusingtheapplianceforthersttime,theraclettegrillmaysmell

andemitsomesmoke.Thisisnormal,thegreasethatmayhaveadhered

totheelementduringmanufactureisburningo. 

USE

 • Makesureyouplaceaheatresistancecoatingundertheappliancein

ordertopreventtracesduetoheatandgreasestainsonyourtable.

 • Putthegreasetray(2)intotheappropriateclips(6).

 • Fillthegreasetraywithwater,makesurethewaterlevelremainsbelow

theelement(3). 

 • Slidetheelementintoitspositionandlockitwiththelockbutton.

 • Placethegrillontheappropriateplasticclips. 

 • Duringtheusethewaterwillevaporateandshouldberelled.

Note:Makesureyoudonotdripwaterontotheelement.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

 • Unplugtheapplianceafteruseorifyouwanttocleanit. 

 • Donotstartcleaningtheappliancebeforeitiscooleddowncompletely.

 • Unlocktheelementbyusingthelockbutton. 

 • Cleantheinsideofthegreasetraywithapapertowelorasoftcloth.

 • Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithasoftandslightlymoistenedcloth.

 • Ensuringthattherenomoisture,oilorgreasethroughthecooling

slotsseeps.

 • Donotuseahardbrushorotherabrasivematerialstocleantheinside

ortheoutsideoftheappliance,topreventscratchingthesurfaceand

theinsideoftheappliance. 
