• Makesurethatthecordisnothangingovertheedgeofthetableor

counter,doesnottouchanyhotsurfacesoriscomingdirectlyinto

contactwiththehotpartsoftheappliance.Donotplacetheappliance

underneathorclosetocurtains,windowcoveringsetc.

• Makesurethecorddoesnottouchthehotpartsoftheappliance.

• Weadvisetoplaceaheatresistantcoatingbetweenyourtableandthe

appliance(thiswayyoudon'tgetburnsonyourtableortablecloth).

• Becarefulwithoilandfatpreparations,becausetheymightcatchre

byoverheating.Provideproperventilationwhenusingtheappliance.

• Donotusethisapplianceinthebathroomornearasinklledwith

water.Ifthisappliancehasfallenintothewaterdonotunderno

circumstancesdirectlygrabthisappliance,butrstpulltheplugfrom

thesocket.

perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you

should return the appliance to this electrician.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Taketheapplianceandtheaccessoriesoutofthebox.Removethe

stickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice.

• Beforeuse,cleantheapplianceandallthesparepartswithadampcloth.

USE

1. Fillabouthalfofthegrilltraywithcharcoal.

2. Placetheheatingelementonthefuelinsuchawaythatthehandleof

therelighterremainsoutsidethegrilltray.

3. Nowllthegrilltraywiththeremainingcharcoal.Handleandcord

shouldn’tcomeintocontactwiththefuel.

4. Checkagainifapplianceandcordareintherightposition.

5. Putthepluginanearthedpoweroutlet.

6. Afterabout2minutesthecharcoalstartstosmoke,after4-5minutes

therearisesomeames.Afterabout9minutestheameswill

disappearandcharcoalbegintoglow.After8-12minutesthecoalsare

white,indicatingthattheyhavereachedtherighttemperature.

7. Unplugtheappliance,thenremoveitcarefullyfromthegrilltray.Grab

thehandlewithonehandonlyandlettheappliancecooldownonits

holder,whichshouldstandonasucientlylargeandheat‐resistant

surface.

• Ashortpowersupplycordisprovidedtoreducetheriskresultingfrom

becomingentangledin,ortrippingoveralongercord.Extensioncords

maybeusedifcareisexercisedintheiruse.

• Theelectricalratingoftheextensioncordshouldbeatleastthatofthe

appliance.

• Thelongercordshouldbeplacedinsuchawaythatchildrencannot

pullitortripoverit..

CLEANING

• Beforecleaningthegrill,pleasepulloutthecordrstandallowthe

appliancetocooldowncompletely,thendissembleallthelooseparts

andcleanonebyone.

• Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithasoftandslightlymoistenedcloth.

• Donotuseanytoxicorabrasivecleaningsupplieslikepetrol,

scrubbingpowderorsolvent.Regularkitchencleanerordishwashing

liquidwithwaterisenough.

• Doneverimmersetheapplianceinwateroranyotherliquid.Neveruse

thedishwasherforcleaningtheappliance.

GUARANTEE

• Tristarisnotliablefordamagesoccurredthrough:

oIncasetheappliancehasfallen.

oIncasetheappliancehasbeentechnicallychangedbytheowneror

anotherthirdparty.

oIncaseofimproperuseoftheappliance.

oIncaseofnormalwearoftheappliance.

• Byexecutingrepairstheoriginalwarrantyperiodof2yearswillnot

beextended,northerighttoacompliednewwarranty.Thiswarranty

isonlylegalonEuropeansoil.Thiswarrantydoesnotoverrulethe

Europeandirective1944/44CE.

• Alwayskeepyourreceipt,withoutthisreceiptyoucannotclaimany

formofwarrantywhatsoever.

• Damagecausedbynotfollowingtheinstructionmanualwillleadtoa

voidofwarranty,ifthisresultsinconsequentialdamagesTristarwillnot

beliable.

• Tristarwillnotbeliableformaterialdamageorpersonalinjurycaused

byimproperuseorifthesafetyinstructionsarenotproperlyexecuted.

• Cleaning,asmentionedinthismanual,istheonlynecessary

maintenanceforthisappliance.

• Whentheapplianceshouldberepaired,makesurethatthiswillbe

performedbyanauthorizedcompany.

• Thisappliancemaynotbeamendedorchanged.

• Ifproblemsariseduringthe2yearsfromthedateofpurchase,which

guaranteeandhencearetobepaid!
