optional hard disk recorder. You can turn the
TV to dierent viewing and listening
positions and change subtitles and audio
options to customise the viewing experience
to your preferences.
Use channels, groups and lists, 30
Create, edit and use groups and lists, for
example, to customise the range of channels
to the preferences of the individual member
of a family. Thus, no one has to go through
all the available channels when searching for
a specific channel. You can edit and add
channels and watch Pay Per View channels,
if available.
Pause and play back a programme, 33
Pause, repeat and resume a digital
programme in progress if your television is
equipped with the optional hard disk
recorder. This enables you to take a break,
for example, to get a cup of coee and
return after a while to continue where you
left o, a while behind the programme’s live
signal. You can step backward and forward
to replay a scene that you missed.
Record a programme, 35
Set a Timer to record a programme you wish
to watch again or at a dierent time than
when it is broadcasted. Bring up a list of
Timers to edit a Timer or to get an overview
of the programmes you have planned to
record. If you are watching a programme
that you decide you want to keep, you can
also copy from the timeshift buer to the
optional hard disk recorder.
Play a recording, 38
Play and browse through recordings,
whether they are old recordings or new
recordings, executed by Timers, that you
have not played yet.
Edit recordings, 40
Protect, name, sort, trim, split or delete
recordings. All of these functions enables
you to modify and customise your
recordings as you wish. You can also change
category or activate a Parental Lock.
Re-tune channels, 41
Channels are updated automatically, but you
can also update channels manually if needed
or reinstall all channels, for example, if you
have switched to another service provider.
Loudspeaker setup – surround sound, 43
Make your television part of a surround
sound system to enjoy a fantastic sound
experience. If you want speakers in your
setup to be connected wirelessly, associate
the speakers to your television to not only
enjoy the sound but also the aesthetics of
wireless surroundings. You are encouraged
to create dierent speaker groups to
optimise the sound experience for dierent
listening positions, and you can set up sound
modes to suit dierent types of programmes
or sources.
