Preliminary checks
Before installing this accessory, please do the following:
• Make sure the selector is fastened to an impact-protected area, onto a solid surface and that it is
fastened using suitable screws and dowels to the surface;
• Set up a dual pole cut off switch with minimum contact openings of 3 mm, and section-off the power
supply;
• Set up suitable tubes and conduits for the electric cables to pass through, making sure they are
protected from any mechanical damage;
Check that any internal connections to the casing (made to give continuity to the safety circuit)
are fitted with additional insulation from other internal conductive parts.
Tools and materials
Make sure you have all the tools and materials you will need for installing in total safety and in
compliance with applicable regulations. The figure shows some of the equipment installers will need.

Rest the back half-shell to the wall and perforate the three marked points.
Perforate the back half-shell at point or depending where the power supply cable is.
Fasten the back half-shell to the wall.
Cable types and minimum thicknesses
FROR CEI 20-22 CEI EN 50267-2-1, section 4 x 0.5 mm2, maximum length 20 m.

Connect the SIPA28 to the ZP11 control panel.
Warning! Before acting on the ZP11 control panel,
cut off the mains power supply and, disconnect any
batteries.
Attach the front and back half-shells.

Fit the cover plate by pressing down on the sides. Finally, power
up the control panel.
Fasten the front half-shell by using the sup-
plied screw.

INSTALLING THE SECOND SIPA28
Cut off the mains power supply and disconnect any batteries from the ZP11 control panel.
Connect the SIPA28 selector ( ) to the ZP11 control panel parallel to the first one.
Power up the system from the ZP11 control panel. Repeat the procedure at point 3 of the paragraphMaster password
in the added selector.

PROGRAMMING
The selector has two passwords: one is the master, for the installer and one for the end user. Both are memorized
only on the selector.
Master password: can be a combination of two to eight digits.
The default password is: 555.
User password: can be none or any combination of two to eight digits.
The default user password is none.
The two passwords MUST BE DIFFERENT.
Master password
The master password is for:
1. Changing the master password
- Enter the master password ( the default one is 555) and press .
- The selector will emit a long sound signal to confirm.
- Press key and then .
- Enter the new password and press . The selector will emit a long sound signal.
2. Changing the user password
- Enter the master password (the default password 555) and press .
- The selector will emit a long sound signal to confirm.
- Press key and then .
- Enter the new password and press . The selector will emit a long sound signal.

3. Changing the selector ID.
- When installing two selectors with the same default ID. The ID can be 1 (default) or 2 (to assign when instal-
ling a second selector).
The operations described below must be performed on both selectors:
- Enter the master password and press . The selector will emit a long sound signal.
- Press and then .
- The selector's ID will flash.
- If the two IDs are the same, change one, by selecting key or and then .
- The selector will emit a long sound signal to confirm the ID change.
User password
The password is for:
1. Using the selector by selecting one of the operating modes (see the "descriptionof buttons and operating modes"
paragraph).
2. Changing the user password (use the following procedure):
Enter the password;
if the pass is none, go directly to point .
Press for 5 seconds.
If the password was entered correctly the selector will emit a long
sound signal and after 5 seconds other three short sound signals.
- Enter the new password and press . The selector will emit a long sound signal.
3. For cancelling the password:
- press and keep pressed for 5 seconds; when the LED switch on, again press .

Description of buttons and operating modes
AUTOMATIC: open leaves with de-
tecting device (radar) and automatic
closing.
OPENING: open leaves, inhibits all
detection devices.
CLOSING: leaves closed, inhibits all
detection devices.
PARTIAL: partial opening of the
leaves up to maximum 99% of the
total run.
EXIT ONLY: opening of the leave
with internal detecting device (radar)
and automatic closing.
ENTER: confirmation button.
BATTERY(door): enable the battery
function when there is no mains po-
wer. If the mains powers supply is
disconnected.

Restoring the 555 Default Master password
- Cut off the mains power to the selector, or press the reset button on the door's ZP11 control panel.
Within 60 seconds proceed as follows:
- Press three times the button (3x5);
- Press three times the button (3x3);
- Press three times the button (3x1);
- Press to confirm.
- The selector will emit a long sound signal to confirm the restoration.
Operating modes
- Enter the user password and press .
Press even if there is no set password.
- The selector will emit a long sound signal to confirm.
- Within five seconds you can select the desired operating mode or the door's battery function ( ).
- Once the five seconds available, for selecting the mode, have elapsed, the selector will emit a brief sound signal.
Repeat the procedure, if necessary.

DISPOSING OF THE PACKAGING
The packaging materials (cardboard, plastic, and so on) should be disposed of as solid household waste, and simply
separated from other waste for recycling.
Always make sure you comply with local laws before dismantling and disposing of the product.
ERROR ALERT
Wrong password:
- All buttons flash five times and five beeps are emitted.
Invalid password:
- 5 flashes of the buttons and 5 beeps
Wrong password length:
- 5 flashes of the buttons and 5 beeps.
Blocked due to wrong password:
After five wrong consecutive passwords, the selector will block itself for two minutes.
- All keys switched on for two seconds and one long beep.
