Caution:
It is dangerous to remove the engine bonnet without
the support, because the engine bonnet may drop
down to hurt you.
When dismounting, two persons at least shall work
together.
1. Remove the windshield washer hose;
2. Prior to remove the engine bonnet hinge, undo
the front fender first;
3. Prior to remove the engine bonnet lock, undo
the radiator grille first;
4. Dismount as indicated in the following Table;
5. The installation is in the reverse order with the
removal;
6. Adjust the engine bonnet after installation.

Adjustment of engine bonnet
1. Loosen the mounting bolt of engine bonnet,
and readjust the engine bonnet position.
2. Fasten bolts.
3. Confirm that the clearance between the engine
bonnet and bodywork is within the range of
standard.
Height adjustment
1. Rotate the rubber stop pad and adjust the height
of engine bonnet;
2. Confirm that the height of engine bonnet is
within the range of standard.

1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery.
2. Remove the front steering indicating light (See
Part T——External Lighting System );
3. Remove the front combined headlight (See Part
T——External Lighting System );
4. Remove the front bumper;
5. Remove the mudguard;
6. Remove as indicated in the Table below;
The installation is in the reverse order with the
removal.

Attention:
l In presence of the following phenomena, the
power window wont be able to work
properly.
Start up the power window motor with the
door glass improperly installed;
Door window glass replaced.
Running track of door window regulator
replaced.
Auto-window regulator removed or
installed.
1. Raise the front doors glasses, from completely
fallen, up to ca. 80mm between the rear glass
top and front door molding
2. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
3. Break down in the order as shown in the Table
below:
4. The assembly is in the reverse order with that
of disassembly.

Adjustment of front doors
1. Measure the clearance between the front door
and bodywork;
l If abnormal, loosen the mounting bolt of door
hinge or the mounting screw of door lock latch,
and readjust the door position.
2. Fasten bolts.

1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
2. Remove the hinge bolt of rear door and
dismantle the connection of front hinge;
3. Remove the limiter bolt of rear door and
dismantle the limiter connection;
4. Dismount as indicated in the following Table;
5. The installation is in the reverse order with the
removal;
6. Adjust the rear doors (See——Adjustment of
Front Doors);

Check of the main switch of window regulator
At the driver side
Attention: Pins 1A (1M), 1B, 1C (1K), 1D, 1J and 1L correspond to the occupant side or the rear row.
1. Remove the main switch of power window (See——Disassembly/Assembly of Main Switch of Power
Window);
2. Connect the main switch plug of power window;
3. Measure the pin voltage of power window main switch listed in the following table;
4. Disconnect the main switch plug of power window, and then check the continuity of pins 1H, 2B and 2C;
5. If non-conform to the specified range, check the components listed under the column Check Positions
and the wiring harnesses, to which they are connected;
6. If the components and their wiring harnesses are all in order, but the system does not work properly,
replace the main switch of power window.

1. Disconnect the negative connection of battery;
2. Remove the front door trim panel

5. The installation is in the reverse order with the
removal.

1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
2. Remove the rear door glass;
3. Disconnect the connector of rear PW window
regulator;
4. Remove the nut and then dismount the PW
regulator;
Tightening torque:
6.87-9.80N·M{70-100kgf·cm, 60.8-86.7in·lbf}
5. The installation is in the reverse order with that
of removal.

Check of PW motor
At the driver side
1. Remove the PW motor;
2. Connect the battery positive respectively with the terminals A and C of the electric motor and check their
performance.

1. Connect the terminal B of PW motor by the 5V voltage with the terminal F grounded.
2. When the motor is in service, measure the voltage at the terminal D.
l If abnormal, replace the power window motor.

4. Connect the negative of battery with the PW motor;
5. Check the performance of PW motor;
l If abnormal, replace the PW motor.

Setting of driver-side PW motor
Attention:
l As the initial value of new regulator has been preset, it is unnecessary to reset.
l As the initial value of new PW motor has been preset, start from the 3
rd
step;
l In case of the following phenomena, the power door will be unable to return normally.
PW glass not installed; use the power window motor.
Replace the door glass;
Window regulator groove replaced;
PW regulator dismantled.
1. Remove the electric motor from the strut bar;
2. Connect the terminal G of motor with the battery and the terminal A with the grounding. Rotate
counterclockwise the motor output shaft at least 4 circles (at least 6 circles).

3. Make the glass bracket lower than the position
of high-end cabinet between 65mm-95mm (the
glass can be fitted only within this range).
4. Fit the motor on the strut bar;
5. Install the PW regulator of front door;
6. Install the front door glass on the window
regulator.
7. Connect the master switch of power window.
8. Power on;
9. Place the switch in the ON position;
10. Close the power window by switch;
11. Repeat the 2
nd
step after the PW automatically
closed.

Attention
l After the PW motor restarted, the
auto-response cannot be done immediately,
repeat 10 to verify.

Attention
l In the check, do not extend your body e.g.
your hand into the window. Be cautious not
to be clamped by glass.
Instruction:
l The anti-trap function of PW is only applicable
to the driver-side front doors
l The automatic anti-trap function is only
effective when the window is closed.
1. Open completely the door glass;
2. Put the hammer handle in the position as
shown in Fig.
3. Close the window;
4. Confirm that the glass moves downward with
ca 200mm opening left, once in contact with
the hammer handle. If any abnormal, check the
faults.

1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
2. Dismantle the cap of interior handle (See——Disassembly/Assembly of Interior Handle Cap);
3. Dismantle the door trim panel (See——Disassembly/Assembly of Door Trim Panel);
4. Dismantle the component of interior handle (See——Disassembly/Assembly of Interior Handle
Component);
5. Take out the interior lock cable and interior handle cable 1 from the interior handle component;
6. Dismantle the pedestal of exterior handle (See——Disassembly/Assembly of Exterior Handle);
7. Take out the exterior handle cable 2 from the exterior handle pedestal;
8. Take out the tie bar 3 of front door lock key from the lock core of left front door;
9. Unscrew the bolt 4;
10. Assembly in the reverse order with that of disassembly.
