Part 1 SAFETY OPERATION
1.1 SAFETY OPERATION
Thanks to the use of RESTMOMENT conference system. Please read
this operation carefully before you use the equipment, and operate it as request.
1Please confirm the power supply system is under the requirement of the equipment
normal level.
2Please protect cable not be treaded and pressed, special joint.
3When setup system, should insure the connection of ground is well, don’t use 2 Pin
plug. Input voltage AC 100240V50Hz
4Resist 1.5M free falling body industrial level aseismatic standard.
5Please notice the system environment, not too hot or too cold, keep the suitable
temperature
6Equipment power supply will get hot when it work, so should keep work
environmental aeration, avoid hot temperature.
7 Please turn off main supply in wet weather or free time.
8Please pull out power supply before below operation.
Apart or rerun setup any spare parts
Reload any plug or other conncetions.
9Equipment with AC 100240V components, please don’t open machine cover.
Not professional, please don’t maintain equipment privately.
10All kinds of chemical was forbidden to contact any part of the appliance
11Before turn on controller power, please comb-out system connection, and
controller setup.

setup and function RX-MBVS
RX-MBVS is RESTMOMENT digital conference system RX-3500 serial software.
When it work with conference system, could manage MIC, and have sign-invote
video function. It can’t work without hardwork.
4.1 RX-3500 hardware connection
4.1.1 system controller and unit connection.
system controller and unit connection use 6P cable. system controller Output port connect the
first unit IN port. Every Output could connect 20 units. For avoiding interference, system
controller cable should have special duct. Standard cable length is 10 M, could order more long
cable as actually.

Please don’t change the connection between unit and system controller. It could
lead Anomalies.
4.1.2 unit and unit connection.
Hand-in-Hand connection. Unit with 6P-2M cable. The first unit Out port to the
second unit In port. The second unit Out port to the third unit In port. Followed
by analogy.
4.1.3 system controller and speed done camera connection.
speed done camera, have ceiling and wall-mounted mode. Camera high less than 2-3 M. The
distance between camera and rostrum is 10-15M. Camera need independence power supply,
should be setup with 100240V socket
System controller have 8 video input, 4 video output, could handle 8 PCS
camera.
Camera double Pin cable connect corresponding video port of system
controller.
For instance, the camera address No is 1, video info should connect the
first input.
Camera communication adopt RX-485 transmit way. For insure transmit
distance and anti-jamming, suggest use twisted-pair, from camera RS-485 +/-
port to system controller RS-485 +/- port.
Camera and keyboard connection as above.
Notice:
Please don’t mess camera +/-, otherwise, will lead unusual situation.
Please don’t use software and keyboard for camera simultaneous. It will
lead camera out off control.

4.2 system controller adjustment
Insure system controller and unit connection, then turn on system controller power, it
will check automatically.

4.2.2 main menu instruction:
Conference event: edit conference event and check agenda result.
Work mode: setup unit work mode.
Speaker set: setup output and input volume.
Video-tracing: setup panorama/unit video tracing.
System setup: unit NO、chairman unit、LED setup、language、IC card and speech count
down time.
Help: system version No.
Exit: Exit system menu.
4.2.3 new system adjustment steps;
4.2.3.1 Adjustment steps:
Si el sistema viene reseteado de fábrica y no se utilizan tarjetas IC, tiene que deshabilitarse esta opción.
MENU Æ SYSTEM SETTING Æ OTHER SETTING Æ IC CARD OFF
1)Check connection as system connection diagram, then turn on system controller. System
check units automatically and show equipment list. Please confirm the equipment list is the same as
actually quantity. After than, system enter standby interface.

Notice: in this list, the chairman unit is executive chairman.
2) setup unit quantity and ID No.
Press , enter system main unit, select system setup, then select to edit ID No,
press again. Move cursor to “start” key, press at previous.
El 0050 es el número máximo de unidades del sistema actual. Debe ponerse el nº real.

When press unit’s “MIC” key, system will send this unit one ID No, as below photo
When all units have ID No, close this operation.
Notice:
System need re-edit ID No in below instance

At this moment, we could edit ID No for this unit. Enter “Edit ID No” , select right key, edit one
ID No, as below photo:
Setup ID No, move cursor to “start”, press . At previous, press unit’s “MIC” key.
4.2.3.2 vote in controller
Para poder realizar una votación es necesario identificar previamente las unidades que van a poder votar.
Esto se hace mediante la opción Sign in.
Before vote, should setup units quantity. Vote people quantity should be the same as setup
quantity ( for instance, we setup units quantity as 50.

New sign in: setup sign in conference event, enter sign in interface, press “start”, see below

Ought seria el número de unidades totales. Al pulsar start se activará una cuenta atrás de 30s para que todas
las unidades activas puedan darse de alta en la votación pulsando su propia tecla mic. Para finalizar el
proceso sin acabar la cuenta atrás debe pulsarse la tecla menú, que la dejará con solo 2s de margen.

New vote: setup vote conference event, enter vote interface, press “start”. More than 10 vote
modes could be selected. see below photo.
Al pulsar start se activará una cuenta atrás de 30s para que todas las unidades puedan votar. Para finalizar el
proceso sin acabar la cuenta atrás debe pulsarse la tecla menú, que la dejará con solo 2s de margen.
New poll: setup poll conference event, enter poll interface, press “start”. Many poll modes
could be selected, for instance, 5 elect 4, see below photo
Result Display: enter result display interface, could see vote、sign in and poll
result.

Limit mote: set the number of delegates permitted to speak at the same time. see below photo
Al limitar a una unidad abierta pasaría a funcionar como modo FIFO.
FIFO mode :microphone key control with override of the active microphones. see below
photo.
Este modo funciona realmente como LIFO.

Notice: left and right key adjust camera panorama. One camera could have 2 panorama.
2Move cursor to , adjust camera panorama position.
Notice: “up down、left right” is for camera moving speed.
3Adjust Focus、Aperture、Zoom、up down、left right.
Notice: “up down、left right” is for camera moving speed.
4Move cursor to “ camera 01”, select correspondence panorama.

Notice: Save No can’t repeat. back to previous menu, RST meat clear all save No.
Video matrix: setup controller 4 matrix video output. See below photo
Out put 1-4 meant video output; 1-8 meant 8 cameras.
For instance, setup output 1 with 1-3 cameras video signal, as below steps:
1Move cursor to “output1”, press , move cursor to 1-3, press , grounding is
black.
2Move cursor to save it.

Status setup: setup executive chairman unit.
One system only have one executive chairman unit. ID item display all common chairman unit.
Screen setup: setup LED brightness and contrast. See below photo:

System have Chinese and English. Could order other languages.
Other setup: IC card sign-in function, speech count down time. As below photo:
