Wireless transmission is at all directions and will not be affected by visible rays. So the WAP-30I could be
used outdoors. Because of the all-direction transmission, WAP-30I could be installed in the control room
directly and make the deployment easier. The longest connection distance between the WAP-30I and the server
can reach 40m. Theoretically speaking, WAP-30I could be installed in any place of the control room. The best
way is to wall hung 2m above ground.
Note: Metal is not allowed around the 1m scope of the installation place; otherwise, signal strength will be
affected.
3.2.2.2 WAP-30I Installation Methods
Wireless transmission is at all directions and will not be affected by visible rays. The sensitivity of the
WAP-30I is the highest if you point the receiver right to the WAP-30I and the received signal is the strongest if
the receiver is kept within 15~30 horizontally or vertically to the WAP-30I.
Note: The bracket is accompanied with screws.
Bracket installation Ceiling- or wall-mounting
Bracket installation: Unfold the triangle bracket and then place the bracket feet on ground and fix them
in position. Point the big screw hole of the iron bracket to the big screw hole of the triangle bracket
and screw up the iron bracket and the triangle bracket together by rotation. The four screw holes on the
back of the WAP-30I are tightened up to the corresponding four screw holes of the iron bracket by
screws.
Ceiling- or wall-mounting: Place bracket surface 2 onto a wall and use screws to screw up holes 1 and
20
2; and then push bracket surface 1 up and down to level with the bracket surface 2 and use screws to
screw up holes 3 and 4. The four screw holes on the back of the WAP-30I are tightened up to the
corresponding four screw holes of the bracket by screws.
