Renishaw RMI is a compact radio machine interface that provides bi-directional communication between CNC controls and Renishaw probes. It enables the CNC control to monitor probe status and trigger the probe wirelessly, eliminating the need for a direct hard-wired connection between the probe and control. This allows for easy integration of Renishaw probes into new or existing machines, and can simplify retrofitting of probes to older machines.

In the countries identified below an additional label is required. The label must be fitted on the side of
the RMI but not across the front cover.
In den nachfolgend angegebenen Ländern ist ein zusätzliches Etikett erforderlich. Das Etikett muss auf
der Seite des RMI angebracht werden, jedoch nicht über der Frontplatte.
Los países señalados a continuación necesitan una etiqueta adicional. La etiqueta debe pegarse en el
lateral de la interfaz RMI, pero no en la parte frontal.
