3. Operation Instructions
3.1 As the paging hub of a P.A. system, it can be connected to 10 systems through a router for central
control. The paging hub can be connected to 10 sets of PC1010P, controlling 10 PC10 systems of
up to 100 zones.
3.2 Each PC1010R connecting to the PC1010R IN interface of the paging hub can control 10 zones of
the PC1010P system.
3.3 Total 10 data output interfaces, 1 data input interface, 10 Type D audio output interfaces and 10
Type D audio input interfaces are equipped on the paging hub.
1) The 10 data output interfaces of the paging hub are respectively connected to the DATA IN
interfaces of PC1010P of 10 systems.
2) The 10 Type D output interfaces are respectively connected to Type D interfaces of PC1010P
of 10 systems.
3) The 10 Type D input interfaces are respectively connected to PC1010R of each system.
3.4 Selection of Power Supply
For suitable mains supply of different countries, three voltage operation modes are provided for all
peripheral devices of the system.
1. For 220V-230V AC power supply;
2. For 110V AC power supply;
3. For 24V DC power supply: In this mode, the system can operate by using spare power supply,
i.e. when 220V and 110V AC power is not available, the system operates directly by using
24V DC power by 24V battery box that is connected to PC1022E (emergency power supply of
the P.A. system) and offers power to devices requiring power.
The power supply mode is set by the voltage selector on the rear panel (as shown below).
AC110V power selected AC220V power selected
1) Turn the selector to the right position when 115 is shown to indicate that the 110V mode is
selected.
2) Turn the selector to the right position when 230 is shown to indicate that the 220V-230V
modes are selected.
3) 24V DC power supply can be used directly when the two power supplies above are not
available.
