You must wear an antistatic grounding strap at all times when handling electronic components. The
antistatic grounding strap must be connected to a grounding source. Failure to do so can result in damage
to the equipment.

Power down the BSG12aw unit.
Slide the BSG12aw ADSL WAN Replacement
Module (NT5S21ZCE6) into the ADSL WAN
module slot.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to retighten the screws on either side of the ADSL WAN module. Do not
overtighten the screws.
Power up the BSG12aw unit.
For more information on the BSG12aw hardware, refer to Installation (NN47928-500).
Verifty that the ADSL WAN module status LED becomes solid green.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on either side of the ADSL WAN module. You will feel
the screws disengage when you have sufficiently loosened them.
Gently remove the ADSL WAN module
from the faceplate.

Replacing the ADSL WAN module
Before you replace the BSG12aw ADSL WAN module, open the box for the BSG12aw ADSL WAN module
and ensure you have the following package contents.

The ADSL WAN replacement module must be contained in an an antistatic bag at all times. Before you remove the
ADSL WAN replacement module from the bag, you must wear an antistatic grounding strap that is attached to a
grounding source.
