Product Change Notice for the 3M™ Twisted Pair Flat Cable, 3782 Series
To Our 3M Authorized Distributors,
In an effort to ensure RoHS2 compliance and considering EU 2015/863, 3M is
replacing the laminate film for the 3M
TM
Twisted Pair Flat Cable, 3782 Series product
line.
What is being changed?
1. The color of the laminate film will be changed from transparent to white.
2. New SKUs have been issued for each of the cable products offered.
3. The following table provides a list of the affected products and the associated
new SKU. At this time we will only have the JE SKUs. We will issue an updated
notification that will include the new SAP SKU and UPC.

What actions and impact will this change have on purchase orders?
Existing orders will be fulfilled with the current 3M SKU, while any new orders after
May 10, 2019 will need to use the new 3M SKU.
What do I need to do?
Please update your listing of active 3M products to include the new 3M SKUs and
remove all of the Deactivated SKUs.
Please act now to:
• Advise your sales and technical staff
• Update your website and systems as appropriate to include the new 3M SKU.
