AudioQuest VDM Series cables minimize distortion across an extremely wide bandwidth. A 75 cable is a
conduit which must carry relatively low frequency analog video (Composite, up to 4.2MHz), super-sensitive
digital audio (SP/DIF, up to 24.576 MHz), uncompressed High Definition video (HDTV, up to 750 MHz), or
cable TV/broadband (CATV, up to 1 GHz). VDM (preterminated) and HD6 (use with ITC connectors) cables
carry all these signals.
Various percentages of silver-plating used in other VDM models allow much higher performance than bare
copper. VDM-5’s Solid Perfect-Surface Silver provides the highest possible performance. The combination
conductive PVC and Silver-Plated braid shield significantly lowers distortion. Direct-Silver Plated RCA plugs
are cold-welded to VDM-5, commingling the molecules for an ideal connection.
BNC connectors are also available.

NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM: 100% shield coverage is easy. Preventing captured RF Interference
from modulating the equipment’s ground-reference requires AQ’s Noise-Dissipation System. Metal and
Carbon-Loaded synthetics prevent most RFI from reaching the equipment’s ground-plane.
DIRECTIONS: When using VDM-5 for digital audio, please be sure to observe the directional arrows.
Video is not sensitive to directionality.
