Dear Customer
Thank you for purchasing the Dehumidifying Egg.
With porous porcelain surface and silica crystals inside, the Dehumidifying Egg sucks
moisture from the air to prevent mildew and remove dampness. It maintains a well-balanced
level of humidity, helping to reduce mould, mildew and odours. Use in cupboards, caravans,
bathrooms and wardrobes, perfect to keep clothes, bedding and wardrobes fresh. It costs
nothing to run; an indicator turns from blue to pink when it’s full – then simply dry out in
the microwave and it’s ready to use again. No electricity, chemicals or batteries required.
Measures H14x W10x D9cm.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place the dehumidifying egg on a window ledge, cupboard or area where moisture,
condensation and mould builds up. The egg will arrive ready to use, the side indicators will be
blue (A). Once the egg has absorbed as much moisture as possible the side indicators will turn
pink (B). You will now need to reactivate the egg so you can use it again.
Please note, you may need to repeat reactivation, depending on the humidity level, which can
vary in different regions.
REACTIVATION
To reactivate the egg either in a microwave or oven simply follow the procedures below:
1. Remove the egg from its base (C)
2. Turn the egg upside down and carefully remove the silicon cap from the egg (D)
3. Place the egg in a microwave / heat proof cup (E).
4. Place the egg in the cup in the microwave set the timer to 10 minutes on 300-400W/medium
power, close the door and press start. If using an oven pre-heat the oven to 300°F / 150°C,
place the egg and cup on the middle shelf and leave for 30 minutes.
5. Oncenishedtheeggwillbeextremelyhot,pleasenoteyouwillneedtouseovenglovesor

6. Positiontheegginthecuponaatsurfacewhereitwon’tgetknockedorotherpeople

7. Once cool to touch carefully place the silicone cap back in the egg, turn it over and place
back in the base.
8. The side indicators should now turn blue, indicating the egg is dry and ready to use.
9. Repeat process for the other egg and for future reactivations.
PLEASE NOTE:
