IFM E34110 Installation guide

  • Hello, I'm a chat assistant that has reviewed the Installation Instructions for the variable clamp fitting 706009/00 from ifm electronic. This document provides guidance on installing the fitting with ifm TA/TT temperature sensors. It includes information on adapting to various process fittings, adjusting the probe depth and ensuring pressure resistance. I am ready to answer any questions you may have about the installation or features described in this document.
  • What is the maximum permissible overpressure for the clamp fitting?
What size temperature sensors are compatible with the clamp fitting?
What is the recommended tightening torque for installation?

Grease inner contact faces of the thread with suitable paste.
The paste must be suitable and approved for the application and compatible
with the elastomers used.
Recommendation: Klüber paste UH1 84-201 with USDA-H1 approval for the
food industry.
Slip the thread onto the temperature probe and set the probe to the requested
installation depth (L).
Tighten the locking nut (B) and the clamping device (F) with a spanner / torque
wrench. Tightening torque: 25 Nm.
The tightening torque is important to guarantee the pressure resistance of
the clamp connection up to 50 bar.
For mounting the Aseptoflex adapter installation instructions of the adapter.
When removing the sensor, the clamping device (F) should be blocked by
means of a spanner to avoid loosening of the clamping device.
