CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the

important notes above. Shut off the power at the

circuit breaker and completely remove the old xture

from the wall, including the old mounting strap.

1.Mountingstrap(B)maybeattachedtobackplate

(F).Ifso,unscrewbackplatescrews(A)andplacethe

screwstothesideforfutureuse.Findthepairofholes

onmountingstrap(B)thatmatchesthespacingofthe

holesonthejunctionboxandthexture’sbackplate(F).

2.Themountingstraphaskeyholesthatneedtobe

positionedlevelatthetopandbottominorderforthe

xturetohangstraight.Lineuptheholesinbackplate

(F)withtheholesinmountingstrap(B)totestbefore

insertingmountingscrews(D)throughmountingstrap

(B)tosecuremountingstrap(B)tothejunctionbox.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

5.Haveanassistantsupporttheweightofthextureduringthewiringprocess.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfrom

thejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsof

thewirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenor

copper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreenground

screw(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmounting

4.Attachaccents(G)tobackplate(F)byusingwashers

(H)followedbyscrews(C).

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

6.Placethexture’sbackplate(F)overmountingstrap(B)sothattheholesinthetopandbottomofbackplate(F)matchupwiththe

holesinthekeytabsatthetopandbottomofmountingstrap(B).Threadbackplatescrews(A)intotheholestosecurebackplate(F)to

mountingstrap(B).Screwuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall,butbecarefulnottoscratchthexture.

7.Carefullyslideglassshades(K)oversockets(J)andsecureinplacewithsocketrings(L).

8.Installlightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattagein

thespecications.

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
