1. BEFORE INSTALLING
Installation should be carried out only by qualified personnel and in accordance with electrical regulations in
force.
The DVR must be placed on a stable surface or mounted in an approved cabinet. Adequate ventilation must
be provided, taking particular care not to block any of the air vents on the DVR.
Adequate protection against lightning strikes and power surges must be installed to prevent damage to the
DVR.
Any safety warnings on the DVR and in these instructions must be adhered to.
If cleaning is necessary, shutdown the DVR and disconnect the power source first. Use a soft dry cloth only
never use an abrasive cleaner.
Do not attempt to service or repair the DVR as opening or removing covers may expose dangerous voltages
or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel

2. UPDATING SYSTEM F/W
2.1 WITH A USB THUMB DRIVE
User can upgrade the system firmware if required. F/W upgrading could be required to increase the
stability and the reliability or apply new updated features. The following steps are a process to
upgrade the f/w

2.1.1 How to verify the F/W version
You may need to check the F/W version provided and the F/W version currently used in the
system. From the Setup=>SYSTEM=>MANAGEMENT=>INFO, you can see the current version of
F/W.
F/W version of new provided one: From the filename of the provided F/W file,
you can see the version number.
Check the F/W version.
Ø The FW_X.XXX_UI_Y.Y.YS in the file
name means the F/W version.
Do not update F/W if the version number of F/W file is lower than the current F/W version.

According to Upgrade, the number of downloaded files might be different.
2) Make a folder in the root of the USB thumb drive labelled dvr’.
The characters, ‘d’,’v’,’r’, in the folder name have to be in lower case not capitals.
3) Copy the unzipped files into the dvrfolder in the USB thumb drive.
2.1.2.1 Preparing new F/W (Type *.tgz) in the USB thumb driver
1) Copy the released F/W *.tgz file into the root of the USB thumb drive.
2.1.3 Upgrading System from the System Menu
Following steps will guide you to upgrade the system with the new F/W.
1) Plug the prepared USB thumb drive into the USB port of NVR.
2) Open Setup=>SYSTEM=>MANAGEMENT menu.
3) ClickUPGRADE button.
4) Checking the Product code.

If the product codes are different, the upgrade will not be processed

The whole upgrading process may take 1~5 minutes.
DO NOT remove the USB thumb driver during upgrade.
DO NOT turn off power to the system during upgrade.
5) When the firmware upgrade is finished, system will reboot automatically.

The web menu service in the DVR provides a way to update the system F/W remotely. The
following steps explain how to do this.
To access the internal web menu service, refer to section 7.1, WEB SERVER of this users
guide.
1) Login the DVR through the web server.
2) Enter the SYSTEM MANAGEMENTpage under the SYSTEMmenu page. Refer to
the below picture.

3.1 CONNECT AND SWITCH ON

Right click of mouse on Live mode, select Network SETUP WIZARD
Step 1.
1. Mobile APP install.
You can install “OnCueviewer” for Android phone, “iOnCueviewer” for I-phone.
2. P2P connection activation.
Move to dvr registration menu on mobile app and activate P2P.
If you want to receive dvr event on mobile app, then activate push alarm.
3. QR code use
On mobile app, you can move to registration of P2P and take picture of the QR code
4. Click Next below
Step 2.
1. Email account registration
Network set up information, Self-Diagnosis result,
DVR event can be reported by email if you fill in below.
2. Password set up
Please fill in password for ADMIN to access remotely and locally.
3. Use above password when you register DVR to mobile APP.
4. Click below Next and start automatic set up.

4. TOOL BAR

4.1 STATUS DISPLAY
You can check the current time / Network connection/ USB storage connection/ Auto sequence/ HDD location

4.2 LOG OFF

4.3 Main Menu POP-UP
Click the main menu button, main menu will POP-UP.
4.4 QUICK COPY MENU POP-UP
Click the following icon, instant Backup menu will pop up. You can save the data 10 minutes from the current
time.
4.5 SEARCH MENU POP-UP
To search a particular section of recorded footage, press the SEARCH button.
To protect unauthorized viewing of footage, only authorized users can playback footage.

controlling camera 1. In single display mode, the PTZ control panel is opened for the currently displayed
camera.
