BLOTZ B28-STA-501 Assembly Instructions

  • I have reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Starship Room B28-STA-501 model. This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to assemble the laser-cut components using glue, a modeling knife, and sandpaper. It includes instructions to assemble the 28mm 3x3 model, including the corner supports, walls, and decorative strips to build a room with two doors opposite each other. I am ready to answer any questions you might have regarding the model's construction.
  • What type of glue is required to assemble the model?
What tools are needed for assembly?
What should I do if I find any joints are not clean?
28mm 3x3 Starship Room (2 doors opposite)
B28-STA-501
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care
and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
Remove the two pieces of the corner support
from the sprue, glue them together and insert
into the base (as shown above) for the left-hand
side of the doorway (when looking into the
room)
Remove the short wall support (note this only has one
lug on the lower portion) and the left-hand corner wall
sections from the sprue.
Attach the lower portion of the wall…
…then add the upper sections.
Repeat this for the other side of the doorway.
Repeat these steps again for the doorway on the
opposite side of the room.
Remove the pieces which for one of the long
walls from the sprue.
Glue them togther as shown above.
Repeat to create the other long wall.
Glue the long walls to the base.
Leave to dry.
Remove the lower decorative strips from the sprue
(these all have vertical etched lines) and glue them
into position using the horizontal lines on the walls to
help position them.
Repeat this procedure with the middle strips
(which have horizontal lines)
And then finally with the top strips.
The completed model.
