We are craftspeople. We are
musicians. We are KitSound
And we all commit ourselves to
achieving one shared goal: Bringing
people closer to their music. By truly
understanding music we stay true to
its craft. Pure, rich, incredible sound.
We’ll settle for nothing less.

At KS we believe your music deserves
to be showcased on great quality products
that don’t cost the earth. We might not all
share the same taste in music (the ferocious
disputes on music forums prove that), but
whether it’s Irish folk, death metal or any
number of obscure genres which seem
to be multiplying by the minute, the artists
responsible for connecting with you through
their craft have bared their souls to do so.
And we think that’s worth celebrating.

Using the Dock Air
Before you can use the Dock Air, it will need
to be paired to your device.
To do this:
1. Simply connect the Dock Air to the
Apple 30-pin connector on your dock.
2. The LED will show a solid blue,
indicating that it is in pairing mode.
3. On your device, go to the Bluetooth
menu and search for new devices.
4. ‘Dock Air’ should appear in the list.
Select it and if asked for a passcode,
enter0000’.
5. The blue LED should then start to flash
once every few seconds, meaning you
are connected and the Dock Air is ready
to use.
The pairing process will only have to be
completed once. When you disconnect your
device from the Dock Air, the Dock Air will
automatically go back into pairing mode.
To reconnect, simply go to the Bluetooth
menu on your device, find paired devices
and select ‘Dock Air’ to connect.

Playing music through the Dock Air
Firstly, make sure your docking station is
in ‘iPod/iPhone’ mode. Then on your device
simply select and play the music you want
to listen to and it will be played through
your iPod docking station via the Dock Air.
Other information
We just want to take this opportunity to let
you know that turning your device volume
to 95% will give you the best sound. This is
because your dock is used to having a full
signal. If you have the volume too low, your
dock will try to amplify the missing part of
the signal, which will result in a whining
sound if the volume is too high on your
dock and too low on your device.
Note 1
Some devices may require you to manually
select to ‘play via Bluetooth. If any problems
occur, please check the user guide for
your device.
Note 2
If you use a remote with your docking
station, on most devices you will not be able
to use functions such as play/pause and
next/previous track. Due to the limitations
of Bluetooth and certain devices, play/pause
and next/previous track can only be done on
the device.
