A) FOR THÈ AUTHORIZED TECHNICIANS INSTRUCTIONS
Operations to be carried out exdusively by qualified
personnel authorised by thè locai Gas and Electricity Boards in accordance with thè locai and national legislation.
Before doing anything else, seek advice from your Gas and Electricity Board.
1) INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
la) Location :
When thè appliance has been removed from its boxing, peel off thè parts of adhesive plastic film that protect thè steel parts .
Thè glue residuate must be removed accurately ( do not use abrasive products ).
Thè appliance should be installed in a well ventilated room, under a range hood to avoid harmful concentration of smokes and combustion
gas dangerous for thè health.Thè appliance can be instalied on its own or alongside other equipment.
If thè appliance has to be installed near inflammable walls, a minimum distance of 150 mm should be allowed.
Verify, by adjusting thè feet, that thè appliance is perfectiy levelied on its base.
1b) Installation :
Thè appliance is set to operate wìth G20 -G25 gas {naturai gas) and G30 - G31 (liquid gas) and also has to be connected to thè electricity
supply in conformity to thè information brought on thè technical data label.
lc) Gas connectìon
Before starting thè appliance up, check that its specifications match those of thè family and group of thè gas available locally.
If not, adapt thè appliance following paragraph 2e) "running thè appliance on other types of gas".
Connection 1/2"gas off-take on plug thè appliance must be permanently fixed to thè mains and installing a safety valve-cock easily
reachable when thè appliance is operating.
If flexible hose is used, it must be in staintess steel and current to regulations DIN 3383 part 1 or DIN 3384.
After compteting connection, check for leaks using a special leak-detector spray.
2) ISTRUCTION PROCEDURE
Before use:
Clean thè appliance with a steel brush or steel wool.
2a) Checking thè input pressure
Make sure that thè gas pressure supply is in conformity with thè operating pressure indicated in the technical data label of the appliance.
Input pressure shouid be measured using a gauge (e.g. a gooseneck pipe, min. resolution 0,1 mbar).
Consider also if other gas appliances are or have to be connected to thè same gas supply.
2b) Checking thè primary air
Protection against thè flame rising when thè burner is cold or light-back when is hot. Thè flame has to be blue without yellow tongues.
2c) Checking the functions
Push the hand knob and turn it counter-dockwise to thè position.
Keep thè knob pressed and check thè lighting of thè burner by looking through thè hole in thè control panel.
When thè burner is lighted turn thè knob on MAX position.
To unlit thè burner turn the knob clockwise to position O.
2e) Regulation of smaliflame :
Turn on thè main burner according to the instructions, turn the knob at the position MIN of thelittle flame.
Make sure that, at thè position MIN, burner's flame is stili alight, even during rapid turning of thè knob from thè MAX to thè MIN.
In case that at thè position MIN, burner's flame dies down, or if thè flame is very strong then do the following steps:
- Keep thè knob at thè position MIN
- Pull off the knob of the tap and with a small screwdriver regulate thè screw of thè tap, which is located behind thè hole
- When you turn thè bolt right you reduce the intensity of thè flame, and when you turn it left you make the flame stronger.
- Regulate thè intensity of thè flame at your will.
Then put back thè black knob of thè tap at its former position.
2f) Running thè appliance on other types of gas
appliance is supplied with a kit of nozzles marked with thè diameter of their holes ; each plastic bag contains thè set of nozzles and shows
the name of the gas.

2g) Replacing thè nozzles
Put thè appliance upside down and loosen the screws of the panel, take out thè finned cover of thecombustion chamber, loosen the screws
of the burners support.
Slide thè burner and. with a proper spanner, unscrew the nozzle and replace it with the correct one.
After fitting the nozzle, before screwing back the panel, turn the appliance and verify the correct combustion and reset thè primary air.
Warning :
After setting the appliance for another type of gas indicate the modifìcation in the technical data label.
3) SPECIAL MANTAINANCE
Before doing anything else disconnect the appliance and dose the gas valve.
The following maintenance programme shouid be carried out at least once a year suggesting thè user to subscribe a maintenance contract :
and check all thè setting devices and thè safety thermocouples
- check that thè burner is working properly and clean it
- check thè combustion
- check the leaks of pressure ( valve-cocks, gas pipes)
- check thè structure and all the components, replace them if worn out or broken.
When thè burner should be cleaned, follow indications brought in paragraph 2f) " replacing of the nozzle" to get to the burner and take it
out carefully.
Clean carefully thè burner openings with compressed air, if the openings are too dirty is better to change the buirner.
4) DIRECTIONS FOR USE
4a) Turning thè burners on and off
Open the gas safety valve upstream the appliance.
Press thè knob and, keeping it pressed, turn it counter-clockwise to position
To obtain minimum power turn it counter-clockwise to position.
To unlit the burner turn the knob clockwise to position O.
When the appliance is not operating keep the safety gas cock closed.
5) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before doing anything else and dose the gas valve.
Never wash the appliance with a jet of water as this causes dangerous infiltration in the components.
A daily cleaning will keep the appliance in perfect working order and make it lasi longer.
The stainless steel parts must be treated with non abrasive detergents avoiding the use of steel wool that may cause rust forming.
The control panel and the knobs must be cleaned with a soft humid cloth.
The plates must be carefully cleaned with a steel brush or a steel wool.

Is advisable to clean the lukewarm plates and to keep them shining is advisable to use vinegar.
After cleaning and rising the plates spread a thin coat of oil prevent rust from forming.
The appliance shoulde be subjected to a maintenance programme carried out by qualified personnel at least once a year.
For this reason we suggest to stipulate a maintenance.
