1887.3 Quick Release Kit for Gamma
1. Place a thin film of lubricant around the attachment
points to assist in assembly of each component.
2. Press all components together as shown in Diagram A,
Page 3.
3. Rotate the Strap Knob counterclockwise until the small
end of the Gamma slides into the Flashlight Mount.
4. Rotate Strap Knob clockwise to tighten Strap around
Gamma light. DO NOT overtighten! Overtightening may
cause the strap threads to skip.
5. Adjust Gamma to desired position.
To attach the 1870 Diffuser to your Gamma Light, rotate
the diffuser clockwise to thread into the front of the
Gamma. DO NOT overtighten or cross-thread.
6. Depress Push Button on your Quick Release Handle with
one hand. With your other hand, slide the Prong Mount
into the handle top and release Push Button.
NOTE: When properly attached, the Push Button should
spring back to its original position locking the Prong
Mount in the Handle.
This mount kit is super lightweight, flexible, and includes
everything you need to attach your Gamma to an Ikelite
release handle for use as a focus assist or macro video
light. Compatible Ikelite trays with release handle(s) are
available to fit most Ikelite and non-Ikelite compact digital
systems, sold separately. Gamma flashlight not included.
