5. Check the concrete manufacturer's specications to see how long the
concrete needs to dry before attempting the use of the installation.

Using a shovel place approximately six inches of gravel into the hole then
tamp it down with a tamper. Repeat this step one more time so there is a total
of 6" of gravel.
NOTE: When digging the hole it is recommended that it has a slight angle and
increases in size the farther down it goes. This helps prevent frost upheaval.
Mix the concrete in a wheel barrel to the manufacturer's specications.
NOTE: We recommend seeking out a local contractor for the best option on
how to pour the concrete. Image 4 shows an example of how the concrete
could be poured.
Pour the concrete based on your local recommendation.
Dig out the holes or a slot for the posts using a shovel and a digging iron. The
holes or slot should be 10" in depth (Double check spec sheet, found online)
and should be a minimum of 5" in diameter. The depth of the hole or slot
should be below the frost line to prevent shiing.

CAUTION: Call your local utility companies to mark where there are any
cables or pipelines before digging any holes.
