PREPARATION
1.
Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If
necessar
y, remove the old fixture including the
mounting hardware.
2.
Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and
check that all parts are included as shown in the
illustration.
SUGGESTED INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
3. Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods
(F1, F2 and F3) to nipple (I) of socket cup (G). A
ttach
canopy (D) by screwing onto rod (F1).
Carefully pass
the wires through each rod during assembly.
Note:
remove the nipple if installing with one 6” rod only.
4. Attach circular strap (A) to the outlet b
ox using
mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”)
of the circular strap marked “GND” must face out.
5. Thread studs (C) into the pre-
drilled holes in circular
strap (A) spaced the same distance apart as the holes
in canopy (D). The length of studs (
C) into circular
strap (A) may be adjusted if necessary.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in
figure 2
, making sure that all wire connectors are
secured.
If your outlet has a ground wire (green or
bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it
.
Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire
directly
to the circular strap using the green screw provided.
7. Tuck the wire connectors ne
atly into the ceiling
junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
8. Align canopy
(D) to studs (C) and secure with cap
nuts (E).
9. Align cloth shade (H) onto the s
ocket and secure with
socket ring (I).
10. Install the light bulb(s) (J
) (not included) in
accordance with the fixture’s specifications.

EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!) (

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
junction box and test the fixture.
