Barrier Plate Kit

Overview

Echoflex barrier plate kits provide certified safety for installing wireless switches and stations in

junction boxes that have live wiring. The barrier plate kit is available in multiple colors and as a

single or dual model.

Dual barrier plate kit, part number 8188K1002

This document covers installation for all barrier plate models. The product package includes the

barrier plate and mounting screws.

Prepare for Installation

Ensure there is space in the junction box to fit the depth of the barrier plate, 20 mm (0.8 in),

without interfering with any wiring.

Installation

1. Use the #6-32 screws provided to install the barrier plate between the junction box and the

Echoflex wireless switch or station.

2. Attach the faceplate (not provided).
