This instruction sheet is for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 Power Pass-Through
Module only. For instructions on features, set-up, and operation of the Galaxy Tab
Active2 tablet, please refer to the manual provided by Samsung with the tablet.
Using this Power Pass-Through kit with the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 tablet will affect
the IP68 rating of the Tablet. If dust or water ingress protection is desired, then the
Power Pass-Through Module should not be used with the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2
tablet because the warranty could be affected.

PRE-INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Conduct a "Bench Test"
Gamber-Johnson strongly advises a "bench test" be conducted to verify all electronic and
software issues are resolved prior to installation:
The computer is not operational by itself once the Power Pass-Through Module 1.
is inserted in the tablet. The Samsung Tab Active2 tablet with Pass-Through
Module must be used with a Gamber-Johnson Docking Station.
Insert the computer into the docking station and verify that the computer boots 2.
up and is operating.
Gamber-Johnson recommends positioning of all mounts and equipment in the vehicle
prior to the actual install to verify that mounting locations are safe and practical.
Please refer to Instruction Sheet(Inst-805) for dock set-up and operation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR INSTALLERS
1. Remove the Samsung Tab Active 2
bumper case and back cover.

2. Remove the battery and replace with
power pass through module.
(Figure #2)
3. Feed Flex cable through slot of GJ
tablet back cover and snap cover in
place.
4. Remove adhesive liner, stick on flex
cable aligned with landing pads normally
used to make contact with pogo pins
located in the dock.

5. Put bumper case back on tablet.
