rangeextendercanbefittedtoachieveradiocoverageinblindspotsnotcoveredbythenetworkreceivers.
Pleasenote;whenusedwiththepersonalpendant,ifthelocalManagerorControlCentrecannothearthecallertheystillknow
wherethecalliscomingfrom,thepersonalpendantdoesnotpickupvoice,andtherangeextenderdoesnotextendaudio,the
extenderonlyincreasestherangeatwhichTelecareperipheralscanbeused.

Therangeextenderisnormallyfreestandingandcanbesimplyplacedonatableorshelfinthehome,howeveritcanalsobe
permanentlywallmounted.TherangeextenderisforinternaluseonlyDONOTSITEOUTDOORS.

Therangeextendermustbewithin3metresofamainssupplyotherwiseamainsextensioncablewillberequired,ifanextension
isusedtakecaretoensurenoonecantriponthelead.
Pleasenote;theunitmeetstheEN300220category1classificationwhichisdesignedtoreducetheeffectsofinterference,butas
withallradiotransmissions,therangeoftheunitcanbeaffectedbyenvironmentalfactorsandbuildingfabric.Toconfirmthe
operationofeachdeviceyoushouldalwaystesttherangeextenderinlocationwiththeperipheraldevicesthatwillbeused.
