Provide step-by-step procedure for the sun lounge
installation.

This procedure is limited to the sun lounge installation on the 130 &150 Super Sport.

install the sun lounge on the 130 &150
Super Sport.

8. PROCEDURE
8.1. Using the pencil, mark the starboard sidewall 3/4” down from
the forward deck.
8.2. Lay the straightedge on the top of the forward deck and
using the pencil mark a line at the aft base of the
straightedge 22” from the forward deck..
8.3. Using the pencil mark a line 3/4” down from the line made in
the previous step.
8.4. Measure 20” aft of the forward deck and using the
pencil mark a vertical line.

8.5. Place the shorter of the two braces on the side wall and
align the top of the brace with the mark made in step 8.1
and the lower mark made in step 8.3.
NOTE: Make sure that the center of the notch in the
brace is aligned with the vertical mark made in
step 8.4.
8.6. While holding the brace firmly in position, use the pencil
to mark the sidewall through the predrilled holes (4) in
the brace.
8.7. Remove the brace, and using the 5/32” drill bit
w/countersink, drill and countersink a hole at each of the
marks (4) made in step 8.6.
NOTICE
Assure that the countersink is wider than the
screw threads to prevent gelcoat cracks.
NOTICE
It is best to mark all hole positions for the
port, starboard and forward braces before
drilling.

8.8. Using the #10 x 2” truss head screws (supplied), secure the
brace to the sidewall
NOTICE
Extra hardware is provided, DO NOT USE
DEFORMED OR DAMAGED HARDWARE
8.9. Install the port sidewall brace by repeating steps 8.1.
through 8.9.
NOTICE
The only deviation is that the side brace
notch should be 24” aft of the forward deck.
8.10. Lift the anchor locker lid out of the way.
8.11.1. Measure 2” starboard of the edge of
the anchor locker and use the pencil to mark a
line 3/4” down from the deck.
8.11. Place the forward brace on the wall
aligned with the mark made in the
previous step.
NOTICE
Assure that the notch in the brace
aligns with the notch in the deck.

8.12. While holding the brace firmly in position use the pencil to
mark the forward wall through the predrilled holes (4) in the
brace.
8.13. Remove the brace and using the 5/32” drill bit
w/countersink, drill and countersink a hole at each of the
marks made in step 8.13.
NOTICE
Assure that the countersink is wider than the
screw threads to prevent gelcoat cracks.
8.14. Apply marine sealant to each of the holes drilled in the
previous step.
8.15. Apply Using the #10 x 2” truss head screws (supplied),
secure the brace to the forward wall.

8.16. With anchor locker lid remaining open, install the starboard
unit first. Make sure the hook on the bottom engages with
the notch on the sidewall brace.
NOTICE
Assure that the leg is extended fully prior to
installing the starboard section of the sun
lounge.
8.17. Install the port unit making sure that the hook and the notch
on the sidewall brace engage.
8.18. The brace on the underside of the port
unit should engage the slot on the
starboard unit.
The forward extensions on each side
unit should lay in the recess on the aft
edge of the anchor locker.
8.18.1.Close the anchor locker lid.
Installing Sun Lounge Cushions
8.19. Starting at a corner of either cushion, and using the pencil,
make a mark on the sun lounge base corresponding (just
under) to each snap on the underside perimeter of the
cushion.

8.20. Remove the cushion and drill a 1/8” hole at each mark made in
the previous step.
8.21. Using the drill with #2 Phillips head bit, insert a snap receiver
into each of the holes drilled in the previous step.
8.22. Apply Attach cushions to each snap around perimeter of the
cushions.
Sun Lounge Installation is Complete.
