Installa๎†Ÿon, electrical connec๎†Ÿons and adjustments must be performed by quali๎„ฎed personnel, in accordance with best prac๎†Ÿces and in
compliance with applicable regula๎†Ÿons.
Read the instruc๎†Ÿons carefully before installing the product. Bad installa๎†Ÿon could be dangerous.
Before installing the product, make sure it is in perfect condi๎†Ÿon: if in doubt, do not use the equipment and contact quali๎„ฎed personnel only.
Do not install the product in explosive areas and atmospheres: the presence of in๎…‡ammable gas or fumes represents a serious safety hazard.
Before installing the motorisa๎†Ÿon device, make all the necessary structural modi๎„ฎca๎†Ÿons to create safety clearance and to guard or isolate all the
crushing, shearing, trapping and general hazardous areas.
Make sure the exis๎†Ÿng structure is up to standard in terms of strength and stability.
ROGER TECHNOLOGY is not responsible for failure to observe Good Working Methods when building the frames to be motorised, or for any
deforma๎†Ÿon during use.
The safety devices (photocells, safety edges, emergency stops, etc.) must be installed taking into account: applicable laws and direc๎†Ÿves, Good
Working Methods, installa๎†Ÿon premises, system opera๎†Ÿng logic and the forces developed by the motorised door or gate.
The safety devices must protect against crushing, cu๎†ซng, trapping and general danger areas of the motorised door or gate.
The European standards EN 12453 and EN 12455 de๎„ฎne the minimum safety requirements for the opera๎†Ÿon of automa๎†Ÿc doors and gates. In
par๎†Ÿcular, these standards require the use of force limi๎†Ÿng and safety devices (sensing ground plates, photocell barriers, operator detec๎†Ÿon
func๎†Ÿon etc.) intended to detect persons or objects in the opera๎†Ÿng area and prevent collisions in all circumstances.
Where the safety of the installa๎†Ÿon is based on an impact force limi๎†Ÿng system, it is necessary to verify that the characteris๎†Ÿcs and performance
of the automa๎†Ÿon system are compliant with the requisites of applicable standards and legisla๎†Ÿon.
The installer is required to measure impact forces and programme the control unit with appropriate speed and torque values to ensure that the
door or gate remains within the limits de๎„ฎned by the standards EN 12453 and EN 12455.
ROGER TECHNOLOGY declines all responsibility if component parts not compa๎†Ÿble with safe and correct opera๎†Ÿon are ๎„ฎ๎†ฉed.
Display the signs required by law to iden๎†Ÿfy hazardous areas.
Each installa๎†Ÿon must bear a visible indica๎†Ÿon of the data iden๎†Ÿfying the motorised door or gate.
An omnipolar disconnec๎†Ÿon switch with a contact opening distance of at least 3mm must be ๎„ฎ๎†ฉed on the mains supply.
Make sure that upline from the mains power supply there is a residual current circuit breaker that trips at no more than 0.03A and overcurrent
cutout upstream of the electrical system in accordance with best prac๎†Ÿces and in compliance with applicable regula๎†Ÿons.
When requested, connect the automa๎†Ÿon to an e๎„ซec๎†Ÿve earthing system that complies with current safety standards.
During installa๎†Ÿon, maintenance and repair opera๎†Ÿons, cut o๎„ซ the power supply before opening the cover to access the electrical parts.
The electronic parts must be handled using earthed an๎†Ÿsta๎†Ÿc conduc๎†Ÿve arms.
Only use original spare parts for repairing or replacing products.
The installer must supply all informa๎†Ÿon concerning the automa๎†Ÿc, manual and emergency opera๎†Ÿon of the motorised door or gate, and must
provide the user with the opera๎†Ÿng instruc๎†Ÿons.
The packaging materials (plas๎†Ÿc, polystyrene, etc.) should not be discarded in the environment or le๎…Œ within reach of children, as they are a
poten๎†Ÿal source of danger.
Dispose of and recycle the packing components in accordance with the standards in force.
These instruc๎†Ÿon must be kept and forwarded to all possible future user of the system.

VERIFICHE PRELIMINARI PRIMA DELLโ€™INSTALLAZIONE
Veri๎„ฎcare che la stru๎†ฉura del cancello sia robusta, che i cardini siano ben ingras-
sa๎†Ÿ e che il movimento sia ๎…‡uido e regolare per tu๎†ฉa la sua corsa e senza a๎†ฉri๎†Ÿ.
Prevedere sempre una ba๎†ฉuta meccanica di arresto in apertura e chiusura ben
๎„ฎssata al suolo, dotata di un elemento elas๎†Ÿco (esempio: gomma) che a๎†ฉu๎†Ÿsca
lโ€™arrivo in ba๎†ฉuta dellโ€™anta.
FISSAGGIO STAFFE
1. Fissare la sta๎„ซa posteriore KT209 (1) in bolla come da misure di installazione
indicate in tabella 1.
โ€ข Su pilastri in muratura ๎„ฎssare la sta๎„ซe con tasselli e vi๎†Ÿ adeguate.
โ€ข Su pilastri in ferro saldare la sta๎„ซa.
2. Con cancello completamente chiuso posizionare la sta๎„ซa anteriore KT218 (2),
rispe๎†ฉando le misure, possibilmente al centro del cancello e in corrispondenza
di un solido traverso. Fissare la sta๎„ซa in bolla allโ€™anta del cancello, come indi-
cato in ๎„ฎgura.
ATTENZIONE: se si u๎†Ÿlizza una saldatrice ele๎†ฉrica, non saldare le sta๎„ซe con
lโ€˜a๎†ฉuatore montato. Le corren๎†Ÿ di saldatura potrebbero provocare danni
allโ€˜a๎†ฉuatore.

PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Check that the structure of the gate is sturdy and in good condi๎†Ÿon, that the
hinges are well greased and that the gate moves throughout its en๎†Ÿre travel
smoothly without impediment or fric๎†Ÿon.
Always install mechanical stops in the gate open and gate closed posi๎†Ÿons, an-
chored securely to the ground and with elas๎†Ÿc damper elements (e.g. rubber
bu๎„ซer) to a๎†ฉenuate the impact of the gate leaf against the stop.
FASTENING BRACKETS
1. Fasten the rear bracket KT209 (1) in a perfectly level posi๎†Ÿon and in accord-
ance with the installa๎†Ÿon measurements indicated in table 1.
โ€ข With masonry pillars, fasten the brackets with suitable anchors and
screws.
โ€ข With steel pillars, weld the bracket in place.
2. With the gate completely closed, ๎„ฎt the front bracket KT218 (2) in accord-
ance with the measurements indicated. If possible, the bracket should be at
mid-height rela๎†Ÿve to the gate and ๎„ฎxed to a solid structural element. Fasten
the bracket in a perfectly level posi๎†Ÿon rela๎†Ÿve to the gate, as indicated in
the ๎„ฎgure.
IMPORTANT: if using an electric welding machine, do not weld the brackets
with the actuator installed. Electric current from the welding machine may
damage the actuator.

Sicherstellen, dass die Struktur des Tors robust ist, die Angeln gut eingefe๎†ฉet

BEFESTIGUNG DER BรœGEL
1. Die hinteren Langlรถcher KT209 (1) waagerecht ausrichten und befes๎†Ÿgen,
nach den in Tabelle 1 angegebenen Installa๎†ŸonsmaรŸen.
โ€ข Den Bรผgel auf Mauerpfeilern mit geeigneten Dรผbeln und Schrauben bef-
es๎†Ÿgen.
โ€ข Bei Eisenpfeilern den Bรผgel anschweiรŸen.
2. Bei ganz geschlossenem Tor den vorderen Bรผgel KT218 (2), unter Beach-
tung der MaรŸe, mรถglichst im Zentrum des Tors und in Hรถhe eines soliden
Quertrรคgers anbringen. Den Bรผgel waagerecht ausgerichtet am Tor๎…‡รผgel bef-
es๎†Ÿgen, wie auf der Abbildung dargestellt.
ACHTUNG: Wenn man ein ElektroschweiรŸgerรคt verwendet, die Bรผgel nicht mit
mon๎†Ÿertem Stellantrieb anschweiรŸen. Der SchweiรŸstrom kรถnnte den Stellant-
rieb beschรคdigen.

FIXATION DES ร‰TRIERS

indiquรฉes dans le tableau 1.
โ€ข Fixer lโ€˜รฉtrier ร  lโ€˜aide de chevilles et vis appropriรฉes sur des piliers en ma-
รงonnerie.
โ€ข Sur les piliers en fer, souder lโ€˜รฉtrier.
2. Le portail en๎†Ÿรจrement fermรฉ, placer lโ€˜รฉtrier avant KT218 (2), en respectant
les cotes, si possible au centre du portail et au niveau dโ€˜une solide traverse.
Fixer lโ€˜รฉtrier ร  niveau avec le vantail du portail, comme indiquรฉ dans la ๎„ฎgure.
ATTENTION : en cas dโ€˜u๎†Ÿlisa๎†Ÿon dโ€˜un poste ร  souder รฉlectrique, ne pas souder
les รฉtriers avec lโ€˜ac๎†Ÿonneur montรฉ. Les courants de soudage pourraient en-
dommager lโ€˜ac๎†Ÿonneur.

COMPROBACIONES PRELIMINARES
Compruebe que la estructura de la cancela sea sรณlida, que los goznes estรฉn
bien engrasados y que el movimiento sea ๎…‡uido y regular en toda su carrera y
no presente roces.
Monte siempre un tope mecรกnico para la apertura y el cierre bien ๎„ฎjada al
suelo,dotada de un elemento elรกs๎†Ÿco (ejemplo: goma) que amor๎†Ÿgรผe la llega-
da de la hoja al cerrarse.
FIJACIร“N DE LOS ESTRIBOS
1. Asegure el soporte trasero KT209 (1) nivelado horizontal y ver๎†Ÿcalmente
segรบn las medidas de montaje de la tabla 1.
โ€ข En los pilares de mamposterรญa ๎„ฎje los soportes con tacos de expansiรณn y
tornillos adecuados.
โ€ข Suelde el soporte en los pilares de hierro.
2. Con la cancela completamente cerrada coloque el soporte delantero KT218
(2), respetando las medidas, posiblemente en el centro de la cancela y en un
lado sรณlido. Fije el soporte nivelado de la hoja de la cancela, como se indica
en la ๎„ฎgura.
ยกATENCIร“N!: si se u๎†Ÿliza una soldadora elรฉctrica, no suelde los soportes con
el actuador montado. Las corrientes de soldadura podrรญan causar daรฑos al ac-
tuador.

FIXAร‡รƒO DOS SUPORTES
1. Fixe o suporte traseiro KT209 (1) em nรญvel conforme as dimensรตes da ins-
talaรงรฃo mostradas na Tabela 1.
โ€ข Em pilares em alvenaria ๎„ฎxe os suportes com cavilhas e parafusos ade-
quados.
โ€ข Em pilares de ferro solde o suporte.
2. Com o portรฃo completamente fechado, posicione o suporte dianteiro KT218
(2), de acordo com as mediรงรตes, possivelmente no centro do portรฃo e em
correspondรชncia com um sรณlido transverso. Fixe o suporte em nรญvel ร  por๎†Ÿn-
hola do portรฃo, conforme indicado na ๎„ฎgura.
ATENร‡รƒO: se vocรช es๎†Ÿver usando um soldador elรฉtrico, nรฃo solde os suportes
com o atuador montado. As correntes de soldadura poderiam causar danos
ao atuador.

โ€ข Collegare il cordino metallico ad una maniglia di sblocco NON di nostra fornitura.

โ€ข Feed the metal cord [A] with sheath through the grommet of the release pin [B]
and fasten in place.
โ€ข Feed the cord through the hole opposite the power cable outlet.
โ€ข Assemble the cord to a release handle (NOT SUPPLYED BY US).
โ€ข Close the cover of the BH23.
