12) Raise xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws
through holes in canopy[G]. NOTE: Be certain wires do
not get pinched between canopy and ceiling.
13) Use knobs[J] and lockwashers[I] to secure canopy.
Tighten to secure.
14) Raise the glass[S] up over the socket[P] unl seated.

CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before starng and during
the installaon.
WARNING:
This xture is intended for installaon in accordance with the Naonal Electrical Code (NEC) and all
local code specicaons. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installaon by a cered
electrician is recommended.
CLEANING:
• Always be certain that electric current is turned o before cleaning.
• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the nish.

RIGID STEM MOUNT
1) Pass xture wires from main body[N] through 3-inch tube[Q] and screw tube onto threads
protruding at top of main body.
2) Pass xture wires through desired number of stems[A] and screw stems together using supplied
short threaded tubes[B].
NOTE: A minimum of one (1) 12-inch stem must be used when mounng xture. Pass xture
wire through remaining stems and screw stems together.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with symbol (4)
to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
3) Screw rst stem into top of the 3-inch tube[Q].
4) Pass xture wires from last stem through one short threaded tube[B].
5) Screw short threaded tube into top of last stem.
6) Pass xture wires through hole in canopy[G]. Lower canopy down towards stem. Pass hole in
canopy over end of short threaded tube on top of stem.
7) Pass xture wires through lockwasher[D] and then through hexnut[E]. Place lockwasher onto
end of short threaded tube protruding from inside canopy and thread hexnut onto tube.
NOTE: Fixture wires should not be cut shorter than 20 inches from above the canopy.
8) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[F]. Assemble mounng screws[M] into
threaded holes.
9) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[C] using the strap mounng screws[H]. Mounng strap
can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
10) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap
ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided,aach ground wire from outlet box under
cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet box ground wire
with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or
white power supply wires.

LOOP / CHAIN LINK MOUNT
1) Follow steps 1 - 3 from “Rigid Stem Mount Instrucons.
2) Pass xture wires from last stem through short threaded
tube[B] and through rst loop[O]. Screw short threaded
tube into top of last stem and into rst loop.
3) Pass xture wires through second loop[K], short threaded
tube, and hole in canopy[G]. Screw short threaded tube into
end of second loop.
4) (If second loop is already aached to canopy, proceed to
next step). Insert short threaded tube at end of second loop
through hole in canopy. Thread lock washer[D] onto short
threaded tube protruding from inside canopy. Pass xture
wires through hexnut[E] and thread hexnut onto end of
short threaded tube.
NOTE: Fixture wires should not be cut shorter than 20
inches from above the canopy.
5) Aach open chain link[L] to loop at end of stem(s) and to
loop on canopy. Once aached, close the open chain link by
placing a piece of cloth over the open link and using a pair of
pliers to gently squeeze the link closed.
6) Follow steps 8 - 16 from “Rigid Stem Mount Instrucons.
SEMI-FLUSH MOUNT
1) Pass xture wires from main body[N] through 3-inch
tube[Q] and screw tube onto threads protruding at top of
main body.
2) Pass xture wires through one short threaded tube[B] and
through hole in center of canopy[G].
3) Screw short threaded tube into top of the 3-inch tube.
4) Slip canopy over exposed threads of short threaded tube
connected to 3-inch tube, making sure the tube passes
through hole in center of canopy.
5) Follow steps 7 - 16 from “Rigid Stem Mount Instrucons.
