12) Raise xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws
through holes in canopy[G]. NOTE: Be certain wires do
not get pinched between canopy and ceiling.
13) Use knobs[J] and lockwashers[I] to secure canopy.
Tighten to secure.
14) Raise the glass[S] up over the socket[P] unl seated.
15) Thread the socket ring[R] onto the socket up to the glass
to secure the glass in place.

RIGID STEM MOUNT
1) Pass xture wires from main body[N] through 3-inch tube[Q] and screw tube onto threads
protruding at top of main body.
2) Pass xture wires through desired number of stems[A] and screw stems together using supplied
short threaded tubes[B].
NOTE: A minimum of one (1) 12-inch stem must be used when mounng xture. Pass xture
wire through remaining stems and screw stems together.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with symbol (4)
to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
3) Screw rst stem into top of the 3-inch tube[Q].
4) Pass xture wires from last stem through one short threaded tube[B].
5) Screw short threaded tube into top of last stem.
6) Pass xture wires through hole in canopy[G]. Lower canopy down towards stem. Pass hole in
canopy over end of short threaded tube on top of stem.
7) Pass xture wires through lockwasher[D] and then through hexnut[E]. Place lockwasher onto
end of short threaded tube protruding from inside canopy and thread hexnut onto tube.
NOTE: Fixture wires should not be cut shorter than 20 inches from above the canopy.
8) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[F]. Assemble mounng screws[M] into
threaded holes.
9) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[C] using the strap mounng screws[H]. Mounng strap
can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
10) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap
ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, aach ground wire from outlet box under
cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet box ground wire
with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or
white power supply wires.

LOOP / CHAIN LINK MOUNT
1) Follow steps 1 - 3 from “Rigid Stem Mount” Instrucons.
2) Pass xture wires from last stem through short threaded
tube[B] and through rst loop[O]. Screw short threaded
tube into top of last stem and into rst loop.
3) Pass xture wires through second loop[K], short threaded
tube, and hole in canopy[G]. Screw short threaded tube into
end of second loop.
4) (If second loop is already aached to canopy, proceed to
next step). Insert short threaded tube at end of second loop
through hole in canopy. Thread lock washer[D] onto short
threaded tube protruding from inside canopy. Pass xture
wires through hexnut[E] and thread hexnut onto end of
short threaded tube.
NOTE: Fixture wires should not be cut shorter than 20
inches from above the canopy.
5) Aach open chain link[L] to loop at end of stem(s) and to
loop on canopy. Once aached, close the open chain link by
placing a piece of cloth over the open link and using a pair of
pliers to gently squeeze the link closed.
6) Follow steps 8 - 16 from “Rigid Stem Mount” Instrucons.
SEMI-FLUSH MOUNT
1) Pass xture wires from main body[N] through 3-inch
tube[Q] and screw tube onto threads protruding at top of
main body.
2) Pass xture wires through one short threaded tube[B] and
through hole in center of canopy[G].
3) Screw short threaded tube into top of the 3-inch tube.
4) Slip canopy over exposed threads of short threaded tube
connected to 3-inch tube, making sure the tube passes
through hole in center of canopy.
5) Follow steps 7 - 16 from “Rigid Stem Mount” Instrucons.
