1. Gettingtoknowyourdevice
AffectsonlyTEASIPRO
TeasiProhas3hardwarebuttons,twoofthemareplacedontheleftsideofthedevice,
oneisonthebottom,belowthedisplay.
Thelowerbuttonisresponsibleforswitchingonandoffthedevice,andforlockingthe
screen.
Longpressingthepowerbutton#changed
Longpressingthisbuttonwillpopupthemenuallowingthelockingorthepoweringonor
off,andswitchingoffBluetooth(whenon).
Toresetyourdevice,pressandholdpowerbuttonforatleast15seconds,untilthescreen
iscompletelyblack.Afterdeviceisturnedoff,itcanbeturnedonagain.
Whenthescreenislocked,noinputcanbetakenbesidespressingthepowerbuttonagain
tounlockthescreen,orpoweroffthedevice.Underlockedscreeneverynavigationand
processcontinuestorun.
UpperbuttonallowsyoutohaveaquickaccesstothemostimportantscreensofyourTeasi
Prodevice:checkSettings–Systemtoseewhichscreenscanbesetforquickaccess.
Thebuttononthefrontofyourdeviceisforgettingbackinamenu,orgettingtoanupper
levelofthemenusystem.
Mostoftheapplicationflowishandleddirectlyonthescreen.

Whenafeaturecanhavevaluesthatcanbeassignedtoascale,thesoftwarewillshow

selecttherightvaluebydraggingthesliderdirectlytothedesiredvalue.

Whenafunctioncanonlybeenabledornot,aswitchisused.Thefieldcontainsthename
ofthesetting,andthereisatickontherighttoshowwhetherthefunctionisactiveornot.

Thekeyboardisforanyletterbasedinput.
Thealphabetickeyboardinthesoftwaredoesnotcontainspecialcharacters,buttheycan
besubstitutedwiththeirsimpleversions.
ThismeansthatifyouwanttosearchforthecityofMünster,youcansimplytype
Munstertofindit.
Thekeyboardonlyallowspossiblecharacterstobetapped

Enteringnumbersispossibleviathenumericpad.

Powermanagement
Powermanagementisforsavingpowerforthedevice.Ifnomovementisdetected,and
thereisnoongoingrecording,thedevicewillaskwhethertosuspendorpoweroffafterthe
settime(defaultis10minutes).
Suspendpopup
Ifsuspendischosen,thedevicewillgotosleepmode,sothattheongoingrecordingsand
processeswillbepaused,buttheycanbecontinuedbywakingupthedeviceviathepower
button.Ifpoweroffisselected,theseprocesseswillbeended,forexamplearecordedtrack
willbesavedwithandendpointwherethedevicehasbeenturnedoff.
Swipefunction
Swipefunctionistherighttoolforfastandaccuratenavigationinsideoursoftware.
Thisfunctionallowstheusertogetbacktopreviousscreen(s)easily.
Themethodistotaponthetopofthescreen,andwithapullingmove,movedownthumb
untilpreviousscreenisreached.

Ifyoudecidetostayonthesamescreen,justdontfinishbutreversethemovement.

2. Startingthedevice
2.1. FirstStartup
Afterthebootofthedeviceandtheinitializationprocesshavecompleted,the
languageselectionscreenappears.
Taponalanguagetochooseyourownlanguage,thentaptheOK( )buttonon
thebottomtomovetothenextscreen.
Supportedlanguagesare:Czech,Danish,Dutch,English,Finnish,French,German,
Italian,Hungarian,Norwegian,Polish,Portuguese,Slovenian,SpanishandSwedish.

Afterselectingalanguage,theEndUserLicenseAgreementwillshow.Afterreading
andacceptingtheEULAbypressingOK( )onthebottomofthescreen,date&
timescreenwillshow.

2.2. EasyMode–FullMode
Attheendofthefirststartup,operatingmodecanbeselected.TheoptionsareEasy
mode,andFullmode.
TheEasymodeisacompactlayoutwiththeessentialfeaturesoftheTeasisoftware,
whichmakesthedeviceasimpler,yetmoreeffectiveandmorecomfortabletoolto
use.
FullmodecontainingallthefeaturescanbesetagainbyselectingFullmodeinSettings
–Systemmenu.
InEasymodeyoucanaccessonlyMap,Search,Memory(andsomelimited,easier
Settings)features.

Insearch,theCoordinatesandToursfeaturesaredisabledasthemostcomplex
destinationmodes.
TournavigationcanstillbestartedfromMemory>MyTours,orImportedTours.

Attheendofinitialstartup,andinSystemsettings,youcanchangebetweenFull
menu,andCustommenu.Fullmenucontainsallavailablefeaturesonthedevice,and
Custommenucanbesettoshowonlytheessentials,thusgainingspeedandcomfort
ineverydayuseofthedevice.Select“EnableCustomMenu”bytickingit,thentapping
on“SelectMenuItems”.

SinceTeasiVoltisespeciallymadetoworkwithconnectionswithEbikes,menu
behaviorissettoadapttobothconnectedandnotconnectedsituations.
Inadditiontothemainmenuchanging,thestatusbarisalsochangedinstyleand
providedinformation.
Menu,statusbar,andComputerinfowithconnectedEbike
OnthestatusbartheEbikeprofileiconisshown,andthebatterypercentageshows
theEbikebatterystatus,notthedevice.

2.5.1. SettingupEbikeaccount
WhenEbikeisconnectedtoTeasiVoltforthefirsttime,devicewillnotifythatthisE
bikeisnotcurrentlypairedtoanyprofile.

Selecting‘No’willnotpairanyaccounttothisEbike.
Inthisscenario,Ebikepairingcanbedonebypressingin“Pairunderthepreferred
bikeaccountinSettingsAccounts.
Selecting‘Yes’therewillbetwooptions:
CreateorSelectAccounttobepaired
Pressing“Create”willcreateanewbikeaccount,andautomaticallypairthe
connectedEbiketoit.
Aftertheaccountiscreated,itsattributescanbeedited.Whenaccountisconfigured,
press“OK”tosavethechanges.
Pressing“Select”willshowtheaccountsthatcanbeusedforpairingthecurrently
connectedEbike.

Fromthispointon,bikewillberecognized,andTeasiwillofferpairedprofileforuse.

Whenonly1accountispaired,and“Yes”isselected,Teasiwillchangetothat

Selecting“No”willkeepthecurrentfunctioning.Teasiwillinformtousepaired
accountforEbikefunctionality.

Whenpairedprofileisinuseandbikeisconnected,orTeasichangedtothecorrect

Thispopupcanbedismissedbypressing“OK”,oritisdismissedautomaticallyafter

2.5.2. TroubleshootingforEbikeswithBrosesystems
InsomecasesitmayhappenthattheTeasiVoltisunabletoconnectwithanEbike
buildingBrosesystems,especiallyiftheTeasiVoltisconnectedbeforethebikeis
turnedon.
Ebikeconnectionwasnotsuccessful
Theproblemcanusuallyberecognizedbythebikelampstartingtoflashwithhigh
frequency,whentheconnectionshouldbeestablished.
Inthiscase,please:
1. RemoveTeasiVoltfromcradle.
2. PoweroffBrosebicyclebylongpressingthePowerbuttononbatteryunit.
3. PoweronBrosebicyclebypressingthePowerbuttononbatteryunit.
4. PutTeasiVoltbackonBrosebike.
5. Connectionshouldbesetupsuccessfully.
