1. This product is for indoor domestic use only.
2. Please read the Assembly Instructions prior to assembling this product.
3. To avoid damage, assemble the product on a non-abrasive surface such as a carpet surface.
4. Make sure all bolts and screws are tightly fastened before the unit is used.
5. Check that all bolts, screws and knobs are tight at least every 3 months or as needed
6. Refer to your assembly manual for maximum weight capacities.
7. Do not push furniture, especially on carpeted floor. Have someone help you lift the item and place it in its
new location.

MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED WEIGHT LOADS
Please make sure you have all parts before beginning assembly. Do not fully tighten all bolts until you
finish assembling all parts. Once assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make the assembly
easier. We recommend using two people for assembly.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR USE ONLY WITH THE MAXIMUM
WEIGHTS INDICATED. USE WITH LOAD HEAVIER THAN THE MAXIMUM
WEIGHTS INDICATED MAY RESULT IN INSTABILITY CAUSING POSSIBLE INJURY.

Please read completely through the instructions and verify that all listed parts and hardware are present
before beginning assembly.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts.
2. Position the table top (A) upside down on a level and protective surface as shown.
3. Ask for assistance to flip the legs (B) upside down and align the pre-drilled holes on the mounting
boards with the threaded inserts on the slides supports of the table top (A). Make sure that the threaded
inserts on the side of legs (B) face inward. Insert four bolts (AA) with lock washers (BB) and flat
washers (CC) through the pre-drilled holes on the mounting boards and then securely screw into the
slides supports, using the enclosed Allen wrench.

DO NOT fully tighten the bolts or nuts initially until all the bolts or nuts are
ready to assemble. To avoid causing damage to the thread, DO NOT over-tighten the nuts or bolts.

4. Proceed to insert four bolts (AA) with the washers (BB and CC) through the cleat
holes on
the slides
supports and securely screw into the threaded inserts on the legs (B).

5. Ask for assistance to lift the unit upright and position it at the desired location.
6. Unlock the sash locks underneath the table top (A)
and release the slide locks on both slide mechanisms to
allow the slide to operate, then pull the Table Top wide open equally from both ends.
7. Lift the butterfly leaf from the compartment of the table top (A). Flip up the leaf and rest it on one slide
support. Unfold the leaf aprons carefully.
8. Unfold the leaf and rest the top flap onto the other slide support.
9. Push the table top (A) from both ends to close and lock the sash locks underneath the table top. Flip
down the black toggle on each slide mechanism to lock the slides in place.

To Store the Butterfly Leaf When Not In Use
10. Unlock the sash locks underneath the table top (A) and
release the slide locks on both slide mechanisms to
allow the slide to operate, then
pull the table top open equally from both ends.
11. Fold two center leaves together and flip down the leaf aprons.
12. Rotate the center leaves and rest them onto the leaf support as shown.
13. Push the table top (A) from both ends to close and then lock the sash locks underneath the table top. Flip
down the black toggle on each slide mechanism to lock the slides in place.

Care and Maintenance
Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
Use of furniture polish is not necessary. Should you choose to use polish, test first in an inconspicuous area.
Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish.
Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish.
Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots.
Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently. Avoid rubbing.
Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may create
spotting within the furniture finish.
Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove.
In the event that your furniture is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that you call a
professional to repair your furniture.
Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.

It is best to keep your furniture in a climate-controlled environment. Extreme temperature and humidity
changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep furniture away from
direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish.

A touch-up pen has been provided to repair any small nicks or scratches that may occur during
assembly or shipping.
