2 Allgemeines
Kabellänge: 0,15 m
• Über die KERN Extension Box können bis zu 3 beliebige Schnittstel-
len angeschlossen werden. Diese lassen sich jedoch nur einzeln ver-
wenden und nicht gleichzeitig.
• Kaskadieren ist nicht möglich!
• Es dürfen nur KERN KUP-Adapter an den 15-pol-Sub-D-An-
schluss der Waage angeschlossen werden!
3 Installation
1. Gerät ausschalten.
2. Schnittstellenadapter in den KUP-Anschluss des Gerätes einstecken.
3. Gerät einschalten. Der Schnittstellenadapter wird automatisch vom Gerät er-
kannt. Es kann allerdings bis zu einer Minute dauern, bis die Schnittstellen ver-
wendet werden können.

1 Scope of delivery

2 General information
Cable length: 0,15 m
• Via the KERN Extension Box up to 3 interfaces of your choice can be
connected. However, these can only be used on their own and not at
the same time.
• Cascading is not possible!
• Only KERN KUP adapters may be connected to the 15-pol-sub-D-
plug of the device!
3 Installation
1. Switch off the appliance
2. Plug in the interface adapter at the KUP connection
3. Switch on the appliance. The interface adapter is automatically recognized by the
appliance. However, it may take up to one minute before the interfaces can be
used.

Longueur de câble: 0,15 m
• La KERN Extension Box permet de connecter jusqu'à 3 interfaces au
choix. Celles-ci ne peuvent toutefois être utilisées qu'individuellement
et pas simultanément.
• La mise en cascade n'est pas possible!
• Seuls les adaptateurs KERN KUP peuvent être raccordés au
connecteur Sub-D à 15 broches de la balance!
3 Installation
1. Eteindre l’appareil.
2. Insérer l'adaptateur d'interface dans le connecteur KUP de l'appareil.
3. Allumer l'appareil. L'adaptateur d'interface est automatiquement reconnu par
l'appareil. Il peut toutefois s'écouler jusqu'à une minute avant que les interfaces
ne puissent être utilisées.
