Kabellänge: 0,15 m
• Über die Ethernet-Schnittstelle können Wägedaten über ein Netzwerk
übertragen werden.
• Es dürfen nur KERN KUP-Adapter an den 15-pol-Sub-D-An-
schluss der Waage angeschlossen werden!
3 Installation
1. Gerät ausschalten.
2. Schnittstellenadapter in den KUP-Anschluss des Gerätes einstecken.
3. Gerät einschalten. Der Schnittstellenadapter wird automatisch vom Gerät er-
kannt.
In der Standardkonfiguration verwendet der KUP-Adapter das DHCP-Protokoll, um
sich in das Netzwerk einzuwählen. Zur Abfrage der über DHCP zugewiesenen Konfi-
guration sowie zur spezifischen/statischen Konfiguration der IP-Adresse, Subnetz-
Maske oder des Gateways können die KCP-Befehle JNEx verwendet werden. Eine
ausführliche Beschreibung finden Sie im Handbuch “KERN Communications Proto-
col”, verfügbar im Downloadbereich auf unserer KERN-Hompage (www.kern-
sohn.com).
Zum Aktivieren von KCP beachten Sie bitte die Menu-Übersicht der Bedienungsanlei-
tung Ihrer Waage.

Cable length: 0.15 m
• Via the Ethernet interface, weighing data can be transferred via a net-
work.
• Only KERN KUP-adapters may be connected to the 15-pol-sub-
D-connection of the balance!
3 Installation
1. Switch off the appliance
2. Plug in the interface adapter at the KUP connection
3. Switch on the appliance. The interface adapter is automatically recognized by the
appliance.
In standard configuration the KUP adapter uses the DHCP log to intrude into the net-
work. For inquiry of the configuration allocated via DHCP, as well as to the spe-
cific/static configuration of the IP-address, subnet-mask or the gateway, the KCP-com-
mands JNEx can be used. A detailed description you will find in the „KERN Commu-
nications Protocol“ manual, available in the download area on our KERN homepage
(www.kern-sohn.com).
To activate KCP please observe the menu overview of your balance’s operating in-
structions.

• L'interface Ethernet permet de transmettre les données de pesage via
un réseau.
• Seuls les adaptateurs KERN KUP peuvent être raccordés au
connecteur Sub-D à 15 broches de la balance!
3 Installation
1. Eteindre l’appareil.
2. Insérer l'adaptateur d'interface dans le connecteur KUP de l'appareil.
3. Allumer l'appareil. L'adaptateur d'interface est automatiquement reconnu par
l'appareil.
Dans la configuration standard, l'adaptateur KUP utilise le protocole DHCP pour se
connecter au réseau. Les commandes KCP JNEx peuvent être utilisées pour la con-
sultation de la configuration attribuée via DHCP ainsi que pour la configuration
spécifique/statique de l'adresse IP, du masque de sous-réseau ou de la passerelle.
