  • Hello! I've reviewed the installation instructions for the ANOVA Traditional Euro ING Bike Rack. This document provides detailed steps on how to prepare the site, dig the holes, and mount the bike rack securely. It also covers important aspects like concrete requirements and frost line considerations. I'm here to help you with any questions you might have about the installation process.
  • What is the minimum psi rating for the concrete footing?
How long should the concrete be cured before installing the bike rack?

5. Check the concrete manufacturer's specications to see how long the
concrete needs to dry before attempting the use of the installation.
2.

4.
Using a shovel place approximately six inches of gravel into the hole then
tamp it down with a tamper. Repeat this step one more time so there is a total
of 6" of gravel.
NOTE: When digging the hole it is recommended that it has a slight angle and
increases in size the farther down it goes. This helps prevent frost upheaval.
Mix the concrete in a wheel barrel to the manufacturer's specications.
NOTE: We recommend seeking out a local contractor for the best option on
how to pour the concrete. Image 4 shows an example of how the concrete
could be poured.
Pour the concrete based on your local recommendation.
Dig out the holes or a slot for the posts using a shovel and a digging iron. The
holes or slot should be 24" in depth (Double check spec sheet, found online).
The depth of the hole or slot should be below the frost line to prevent shiing.

NOTE: Distances between posts vary depending on models , double check
spec sheets (Found online) to nd the distances needed when digging holes
or slots for posts.
NOTE: The same methodology applies when installing the single, inground
square post of the Euro bike rack or a U-shaped inground bike rack. The
image shown to illustrate the front line is a U-shaped bike rack.
