1) Turn off power.
2) Attach backpan to outlet box. (Screws not provided).
3) Grounding instructions: (See Illus. A or B).
A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwithaholeandtworaised
dimples.Wrapgroundwirefromoutletboxaroundgreengroundscrew,
and thread into hole.
B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attachgroundwirefrom
outletboxundercuppedwasherandgreengroundscrew,andthreadinto
mountingstrap.
Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxturegroundwiretooutletbox
ground wire with wire connector. (Not provided.) After following the above steps.
Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
4) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart below for correct
connections and wire accordingly.
5) Pushxturetowall,aligningholesontopofxturewithholesontopedgeof
backpan.
6) Attachxturetobackpanwithscrews.
7) Set glass over socket.
8) Slip rubber washer then spacer over socket.
9) Screw socket ring onto socket.
10) Insertrecommendedbulb.CAUTION: DO NOT touch bulb with bare hands. If
thishappens,cleanbulbwithdenaturedalcoholandalintfreecloth.
11) Slip glass sleeve over bulb.
