Quickly and easily remove carbonized food from your grill surface with the Redco

. Equipped with a
splashguard and an extra-long handle that is positioned above the grill, the Redco

scraper offers
added protection from burns.
1. With one hand on the Handle Casting (see illustration on next page) and other hand on the Knob, place the
Redco
®
Grill Tender
®
scraper on the grill surface. With a firm front-to-back motion, scrap the carbonized
food particles from the grill surface.
2. Repeat steps as needed to keep the grill surface clean.
3. Clean the Redco
®
Grill Tender
®
scraper after each use to maintain optimum performance and extend the
life of the blade.

Prior to each use check for broken, nicked or dull blades and if found, replace the blade.
Prior to using this equipment, it is important to clean the unit. Wash new blades with warm soapy water and
rinse thoroughly to remove the thin protective oil film.
CLEANING & BLADE REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING
1. Wash the Grill Tender
®
Scraper in mild soap and hot water.
2. Rinse and air dry.
BLADE REMOVAL
1. Loosen the Pressure Plate Retaining Set Screws with an Allen Wrench.
2. Carefully remove the Blade and Pressure Plate from the unit. Properly dispose of the old blade.
3. Carefully align the replacement blade and pressure plate into the groove of the Head Section Casting.
4. With the pressure plate and blade in place, firmly tighten the set screws to securely fasten the blade and
pressure plate to the Head Section Casting.
