AxonKids Babyfix base is a safe and reliable child seat base designed for babies weighing up to 13kg. It has been tested and approved according to ECE R44 / 04 regulations, and can be used in all positions of the car that are approved for ISOFIX holding devices. The base can be attached to the car seat using either the car's seatbelts or the ISOFIX holding system, depending on your car's specifications.

Introduction
ank you for choosing a child seat base from Axon Kids. e team developing
Babyx have more than 30 years of experience in child safety products between
us, and we have done our outmost to make this product as safe as possible.
is base has been developed to be used both with ISOFIX-system and with
fastening manually by the belts. Babyx base has a ”semi-universal group 0+” ap-
proval for a child who weighs up to 13 kg and approved ISO/R1 holders.
Babysx base has an ISOFIX holding device and is approved
according to ECE R44/04 regulations.
Babyx base could be used in all positions of the car that is
approved for ISOFIX holding device.
When the base is used together with the car belt make sure
that the car is approved according to ECE 16 regulations.
Do not attempt to dismantle, modify or add to any part of
the child seat or change the way its harness or your car seat
belts are made or used. e ocial approval is no longer valid
if modications are made.
Keep these assembly instructions thru out the lifetime of the
base.
Do not attempt to assembly the base with the ISOFIX hold-
ing system without using the leading covers.
Read the instruction manual carefully before you
assembly the base. Otherwise you risk to seri-
ously harm your child.

Assemble the base
1. Attach the belt lock-o to the
backsupport. Insert the two legs of the
back support and xate to the base
with the screws included in the box.
2. If ISOFIX holding system should
be used you need to fold them out ac-
cording to picture above.
Warning! Dont unfold the ISO-
FIX holders if you are not going to use
them. is could create damages to
your car interior, if they are not used
fold them back according to pic 3.

Attaching base to the car seat
You could use either the belts of the
car or the ISOFIX holding system to
xate the base to the car seat, depen-
dent of your car specications. If you
are uncertain of which system to use
check your car manual for information.
1. Pull the car seatbelt under the
hooks as shown in picture 1. Lock the
belt, picture 2. en press the base unit
into the seat and pull the car seatbelt
as far as it will go then attach the belt
lock-o. e belt lock shall always be
on the same side as the car buckle.
2. Extend the leg by pushing the
release button and adjust the length
so that it is fully supported by the car
oor, pic 3. Ensure that the leg is stand-
ing rmly against the oor and that the
base is not able to slip.
3. e base should look like in pic-
ture 4 when it is assembled correct.

Using the base with ISOFIX
1. Assemble the leading covers for
the ISOFIX holding system to the car,
pic 1.
2. Extent the two ISOFIX holders
legs and assemble them into the lead-
ing covers which you assembled in rst
step, picture 2 and 3. You will know
that they are assembled when you here
a click sound. Check that the color
marking on the restraint mechanism
has changed to green, picture4, and
that the base is rmly positioned.
3. Extend the leg by pushing the
release button and adjust the length so
that it is fully supported by the car oor
(picture 5).
3. Ensure that the leg is standing
rmly against the oor and that the
base is not able to slip.

Attaching and removing baby seat
1. Press down the baby seat until
you hear a click sound. Check if the
baby seat has locked correctly by pull-
ing the handle upwards, the seat should
not detach from the base.
2. en push down the handle to
position B like in the picture to the
right.
3. To detach the baby seat from the
base push the release button and then
lift the seat upwards.
Warning! Always make sure that
your child is seated rmly when you lift
and carry your child and seat to avoid
injuries.

1 A. If the base is assembled with
ISOFIX holders then release this by
pressing down the red ISOFIX re-
straints mechanism button, picture 1,
on both sides.
1 B. If the base is assembled with
the car seatbelt, simply press the latch
on the car belt to release the belt.
2. Fold the ISOFIX holders togeth-
er into the base according to picture 3.
3. Press the release button in the leg
and push the leg upwards to bundle it
up together, picture 2.
4. Fold the leg together underneath
the base and secure it according to pic-
ture 4.
