1.1 Check step
When the camera is received, check that the equipment appears to
have no obvious damage. The product packaging uses protective
material to withstand most accidental impacts in the transport
process.
Please open the product outer packing and check that accessories are
complete. See accessories list below for inspection.

2.2 Dimensions
Step 2: Loosen the 4 screws on the metal gasket and
remove it. Removing the metal gasket may affect the
waterproof rating if the surface is uneven and cannot
provide proper pressure on the silicone pad.
Step 1: Use Allen key to remove cap on the bottom of camera.
Step 3: Loosen the 4 captive screws on the dome bubble and
open it.
Step 4: After opening the dome use the tool provided to
loosen the 4 screws and remove the bottom cover.
Step 5: Fix bottom cover in the location where the camera is
to be installed (wall or ceiling):
5-1. Place installation sticker (template) on the
installation location (wall or ceiling).
5-2. Bore 4 holes according to the marks on the
installation sticker.
5-3. Use the 4 expansion bolts provided in the
screw installation package and insert them
into the 4 holes.
5-4. Use the 4 screws provided in the screw
installation package and screw them into the
expansion bolts to fix bottom cover in the
installation location (wall or ceiling).
CAUTION: External power supply cannot be used with PoE
simultaneously or it will damage the camera.
When this camera is installed near wireless communication devices that
emit a strong electromagnetic field, irregularities, such as noise, may
appear in the image.

Do not disassemble the camera.
There are no user serviceable part inside.
Do not drop the camera or apply force to it.
This may cause a malfunction.

Step 6: Insert the main body with modules back into the
bottom cover. Fix them with the 4 screws previously
loosened (in step 3).

This product is intended to be supplied by an UL Listed Power Adapter and Limited
Power Source (LPS) or DC power source class 2 (PS2) rated (1) 12VDC, minimum
2.08A; (2) 24VAC, 50/60Hz, minimum 1.3A; (3) PoE 48Vdc, minimum 0.52A,
minimum Tma 50 degree C and the altitude of operation = 2000m. If need further
assistance with purchasing the power source, please contact to Vicon Industries Inc.
for further information.
Step 9: Retighten the 4 captive screws on the dome to
secure it in place.
Step 8: After confirming the direction, rotate the manual
easing gear (both sides) to fix the position.
4.2 Use the IP Finder to access your camera.
The IP Finder tool (Discovery tool) can be gotten from the Vicon
website.
4.6 The camera GUI will open in "Live View;" click “Setup”.

4.7 Network Basic Settings:
Displays the current IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway,
DNS, HTTP Port and MAC of the camera; see picture below:
4.8 System Maintenance Settings:
To update your camera default, choose Restart Camera or Factory
Default or Hardware Factory Default; see picture below:
4.3 Sample IP settings and default user name/password:
IP address: 192.168.1.168
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
User name: ADMIN
Password: 1234
4.4 Open IE browser, type IP address in the address bar,
and then press the Enter button.
4.5 You will be prompted with a pop-up window asking for
login information; type in
ADMIN
(case sensitive) and
“1234” (default password). Refer to picture below.
4. NETWORK OPERATION
4.1 By defaut, the camera is set to obtain an IP address via
DHCP. If your network does not have a DHCP server, run
IP Finder and click “Search;” you will find the device IP,
as shown in the picture that follows.
