For Household Use Only. Conrm your tank
has not been damaged during shipping before
you start the setup process. Completely install
aquarium before operang. The LED unit is
powered by 3 AAA baeries or by a Power
Adapter 5V, neither are included in this kit. To

cle to prevent
water from drip-
ping onto it.

aquarium to allow easy access to the lter
and various electrical cords from the
electrical equipment.

Near direct sources of sunlight (e.g. win-
dows), unwanted algae growth may occur.
Near direct sources of heat or air condion-
ing (e.g. radiator, forced air vent).
Around sources of noise (e.g. stereo speak-
ers, TV).
Dray areas.
Do not place aquarium on any good surface
that can be damaged by water.
Where water can come in contact with other
electrical appliances.

Fill the aquarium with water to within two inch-
es from the top of the tank. Treat water with a
water condioner to remove chlorine and
chloramines from tap water that can be harmful
to your sh. Conrm water temperature in
aquarium has reached room temperature.

8. Installing Power Filter
Locate the adjustable hanger bracket inside the
box. Place the hanger bracket at 90° and align one
of the adjustment holes onto the mounng post,
rotang it upwards unl hanger is vercal. Install
the lter inside the aquarium by hanging the lter
onto the aquarium rim. The water level of the
lled aquarium should be above the line on the
front of the housing. To raise or lower the Filter
adjust the hanger by rotang the hanger 90º, re-
move it, and replace it in an alternate alignment
hole.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Perform a 25% water change monthly, more fre-
quently if necessary depending on number of sh
and amount of daily feedings, use a vacuum grav-
el siphon to thoroughly remove any uneaten food
and waste buildup.
Replace Koller Products lter XS cartridge® every
3 to 4 weeks or when heavily soiled, depending
on the number of sh and amount of daily feed-
ings, to keep lter running eciently.
Select proper sized heater appropriate for your
aquarium size. Read and follow the heaters
instrucons. Check with your retailer for
recommended heater sengs. Adjust heater
sengs as directed. Conrm water tempera-
ture with thermometer. Always use a power
strip with surge protector to safeguard your
electrical equipment.
