Paence is important when establishing
your new aquarium. Begin by talking to an
aquac professional about which sh are
best suited for your aquarium and are com-
pable with each other, and how many
would be appropriate for your aquarium.
Inform them that you have just set up a new
aquarium so they can recommend hardy
sh. Be sure that the sh are eang and
acng normally. Check for ragged ns that
can be caused by harmful bacteria or white
spots caused by parasites. Always choose
healthy looking sh.
Do not add too many sh at once. Choose a
couple and then wait two weeks before
adding more. (Oponal) Add Quick Start to
allow immediate addion of sh. Quick
Start prevents harmful ammonia and nitrite
from building up from sh waste in a new
aquarium, oen resulng in sh loss.
Float the bag with your sh on the
surface of the aquarium for 15 minutes.
Open the bag containing your new sh,
taking care that the bag does not
collapse, and add a lile aquarium water
every two minutes directly to bag.
Connue this process for 10 minutes,
allowing the bag to ll with water.
Take bag with sh to sink and gently
scoop sh out with a net or pour bag of
water into net. Now gently place sh
into aquarium. Do not add water from
sh bag in order to prevent introducon
of possible disease or parasites from
store water.

ble heater, install it now.
