WURM CAN-AP

WURM CAN-AP is a Bluetooth® access point for the Wurm system, allowing for wireless communication between the Wurm system and mobile devices. improper use or use for other than the intended purpose.
Target group This manual is intended for "service technician" personnel.

Before opening the device, make sure that you are not electrostatically charged! Discharge your-
self on an earthed metal part, such as a heater, control cabinet or refrigeration unit!
Install the device so that the ambient air can flow through the air vents in the housing cover!
During installation, use screws with flat heads that do not exceed a height of 2.5mm! Screw
heads that are too high may result in short-circuits in the device!
The wiring of the device should be carried out only by a qualified electrician!
You must use the correct tools for all work!
Connect the connection lines without mechanical stress. The connection lines have only
restricted strain relief and interlocking!
Check all wiring after connection!
Never expose the device to moisture, for example due to condensation or cleaning agents!
Take the device out of operation if it is faulty or damaged!
Do not repair the device yourself! If required, send it in for repair with an exact description of the
fault!

3.1 Software revision and validity of documentation
Any software versions not listed are special solutions for individual projects and are not described in detail in this
document. This document automatically ceases to be valid if a new technical description is issued.

4 Installation

Tools: Flat-head screwdriver with a tip max. 5mm wide
1. Using the screwdriver, lightly press the snap fastener on the right-hand underside of the housing.
The snap fastener will release.
2. Remove the housing cover.
3. Install the housing base on the wall. For installation on stone and concrete walls, we recommend
countersunk head screws, 3mm in diameter, 30mm long and plugs 5mm in diameter.

4. Place the housing cover on the left-hand edge of the installed housing base. Make sure that the
two retaining lugs on the housing base are positioned in the recesses in the housing cover.
5. Press the housing cover lightly against the housing base.
The housing cover will engage and the housing will be closed.
You can now connect the CAN-AP.
