Annex 1
1 Precaution during installation
1. Before and during installation, make sure the power is o. If operated
with energy, it may damage the equipment circuit.
2. After wiring is complete, wrap excess wires to prevent short circuits.
3. In places where static electricity is very severe or in the winter, connect
the ground wire rst and then carry out installation work to prevent the
equipment from being damaged by excessive static electricity.
4. Please plug in the other cables rst, then plug in the power cord. If the
device is not working correctly, please unplug the power cord and per-
form the necessary checks.
5. Test the output switch when someone is outside the door to avoid
unexpected problems that could cause the door to lock and prevent nor-
mal debugging of the output.
6. The rated operating voltage of this device is 12V DC, and the rated cur-
rent is 2 A. The power supply must also consider the current requirements
for accessories such as electric locks to avoid problems such as the unsuc-
cessful start of the front controller or weak actuation of the electric lock
due to an abnormal power source.
7. If the access control board supplies the controller’s power supply, verify
if the power output from the access control board meets the controller’s
power requirements.
8. Ensure the controller’s camera area is always clean to avoid smudges
aecting facial recognition.
9. If the distance between the power supply and the device is relatively
long, do not use network cables or other types of cables in place of power
cables. When selecting the power cable, consider the voltage attenuation
caused by a long transmission distance.
10. Avoid direct sunlight on the controller lens; intense light will cause
poor recognition capability.
11. Under a strong backlight environment, if the face the controller re-
cognizes is very dark and the recognition is poor, you should consider
increasing the illumination light and brightening the face to improve the
recognition eect.
12. A high-quality power supply is used to prevent the insucient power
supply from aecting the face recognition eect of the machine and the
insensitive touch screen. (The bottom power supply may burn the mo-
therboard due to leaks).
13. After installing the body temperature machine, it is recommended
to perform temperature calibration in the eld so that the recognition of
body temperature is more accurate.
14. If installed in a robust current device such as a gate, make a good grou-
nd wire to prevent substantial current leakage or motor interference that
aects the use of the controller

Common questions
1. How to enter controller system menu management?
Answer: Click the “rmware version area” in the lower left corner to swit-
ch to “administrator ID”; check the administrator’s face. You can enter the
controller management menu or click ‘Administrator Recognition’ to enter
the input management password interface. Enter the administrator pas-
sword and click ‘OK’ to enter the controller management menu.
2. What does the “conrmed” prompt mean for successful facial re-
cognition?
Answer: By default, the controller is congured to repeat the 10-second
check interval. Once veried, it will be requested again within 10 seconds.
This verication log will not be saved in the access log.
3. What is the reason for the “Thank you” voice in a live report after
successful facial recognition?
Answer: As the controller recognition speed is fast, if the controller has not
set the reauthentication interval time and if the face does not leave the re-
cognition area, the controller will always recognize the face. That is why it
will always announce by voice. If users do not often want to identify them-
selves, you can set the repeat check interval in the access control settings.
4. Why can’t the software of the card management system search for
this device?
Answer:
1. Check if the controller is connected to the local network; you can do
so by pressing the controller’s IP method.
2. Check if the controller’s network port conguration is the same as
the network port searched by the software.
3. Check if the card management system software is the latest software
version.
4. Check if there is a fault in the device itself.
5. What are the reasons why some controller manufacturers cannot
recognize IC card swipes?
Answer: Some manufacturers’ IC card reading frequency deviation is re-
latively large, and the cards cannot be recognized. We recommend repla-
cing cards from other manufacturers.
6. Controller touchscreen response is slow or insensitive. What has
caused it?
Answer: The controller has relatively high-power requirements. We recom-
mend replacing the standard power supply of 12 V 2 A or more.
7. I cannot update the controller. What should I do?
Answer: You can update it via network cable to connect to the controller
and rmware update online through software.
8. When the controller is turned on for a while, is it normal to heat?
Answer: The controller has the heat dissipation design in the case (as
shown on the side), and it is normal for the case to be a little warm.
Annex 3
Face position
The schematic diagram of face input size adjustment is shown in the
gure below:
Face input should pay attention to the screen to ensure the quality of
information on facial parameters and the accuracy of comparison in the
input process. To maintain a natural expression, please do not wear hats,
sunglasses, and other accessories that aect the facial features collection,
and do not let bangs cover facial features. Please do not wear heavy
makeup, and try to keep your face in the center of the window.
When using face recognition, pay attention to the lens and avoid covering
too much with eyes, hats, and masks.
