Harness Hydration System
Step 1.
Loosen the webbing at the back of the
harness where it crosses, just beneath
the D-ring.
Step 2.
Unsnap the buckle on the back of the
Hydration Pack and thread the buckle
behind the harness webbing.
Step 3.
Pull the buckle and strap completely
through the harness webbing.
Step 4.
Clip the two portions of the buckle back
together.
Step 5.
Turn the harness and pack over.
Unsnap the snaps on the straps at the
bottom of the pack. Wrap the straps
around the harness webbing.
Step 6.
Fasten the snaps securely back into
place on the back of the pack.
The Hydration System is now securely attached to the
harness and ready to be used. Adjust the length of
the strap and buckle at the top of the carrier to raise
or lower the carrier for the best t. On some harness
models it may be necessary to loosen the top strap all
the way so the straps and snaps at the bottom of the
carrier are able to go around the harness webbing.
The drinking tube can be positioned on either side of
the harness and includes a clip to hold the bite valve
in place on the harness.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Hydration Reservoirs:
To clean your hydration reservoir use hot water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly with hot water.
For tough cleaning jobs, add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to a full reservoir of water and let soak overnight. Rinse
thoroughly and air dry.
To sanitize, add 2 teaspoons of unscented household bleach to a reservoir full of clean water and let soak overnight.
Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
Store your hydration system in a cool dark place.
Prior to each use, ll the reservoir, tighten the cap, then squeeze the reservoir and watch for leaks to ensure that the cap
is sealed properly.
When freezing, ll reservoir no more than 3/4 full.
Packs:
NOTE: Wash packs in a FRONT LOAD WASHING MACHINE ONLY.
Washing Instructions:
Clean off excessive dirt and debris by hand.
Connect all buckles and tighten straps.
Wash in a front load machine only with warm water and a mild detergent.
Tumble dry low or air dry.
If possible, store your pack in a cool, dry place.
