Safety informaon
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precauons should always be
followed including:
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
Always ensure the voltage on the rang label corresponds to the voltage in your
home.
Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug
is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualied electrician or a service repair
centre. If in doubt please contact our customer service team.
The appliance is intended for domesc use only. Industrial or commercial use
will void the warranty. The supplier cannot be held responsible for injury or
damage if the appliance has been used for anything other than its intended use.
Incorrect operaon and use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the
user.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in anyway. If the
unit has been damaged take the unit for examinaon and or repair by an
authorised service agent.
Do not immerse or expose the , plug or the power cord in water or any other
liquid for any reason.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by
someone who is suitably qualied to avoid a potenal hazard.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Ensure that the
cord is not in a posion where it can be pulled or tripped over accidentally.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces and do not place the cord near hot
gas or electric burners or in a heated oven.
Use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended. However if it
is necessary to use an extension cord, ensure that the extension cord is equal to
or greater than the power consumpon of the appliance to avoid overheang of
the appliance and extension cord. Do not use any other appliance on the
extension cord. Do not place the extension cord in a posion where it can be
pulled on by children or animals or be tripped over.

UK and EU Guarantee
Your new Andrew James product comes with a 24 month guarantee and a 2 year xed
warranty, eecve from receipt conrmaon. Your receipt or order number is required
as proof of purchase date so it is imperave that you keep it safe. This guarantee only
applies if the item has been used solely for the use intended, and all instrucons have
been followed accordingly. Please note this product is only for domesc use only and is
not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the original colour product box, and presented
with the original receipt of sale/order number. This does not aect your statutory
rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and returned to us in as close to delivery condion
as possible.
If your product develops a problem within the rst 12 months of the xed warranty, we
will pay all shipping costs to have it returned to us. Aer 12 months the customer will
be liable for the cost of returning the product to us. We will then pay to have the
repaired/replaced item shipped back to the customer.
If you wish to return your item for a full refund, you have the right to do so within the

Customers are responsible for any taxes applied to our products when they are shipped
outside of the EU.
All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.
Once a product has been returned to us, we will aim to repair or replace it within 30
days of receipt.
The guarantee does not cover any defect arising from improper use, damage, build-up
of lime scale or repair aempts made by third-pares. Also, the guarantee does not
cover normal wear and tear of individual parts.

Always operate the appliance on a smooth, even and stable surface. Do not
place the unit on a hot surface.
Always remove the plug of the appliance safely. Do not pull on the appliances
cord to remove the appliance plug from the electrical socket.
Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.
Appliance specic safety instrucons
Only use the heater on a rm, solid and level area.
The heater is for indoor use only, outdoor use is prohibited.
Do not push any items through, obstruct or cover the grill of the heater head.
Do not posion the appliance immediately above or below an electrical socket.
Do not move the appliance when it is connected to an electrical supply and
always wait for the heater to cool down before storing it away.
Do not touch the heater head when it is in use.
Do not leave the appliance turned on and unaended especially when children
and or animals are in the vicinity of the appliance.
Do not cover grills, block entry or exit of air ow by placing the appliance near or
against any surface. Keep all objects at least 1 metre from other objects.
The unit works at a high temperatures during operaon and remains hot for a
period aer shut down. Potenal dangers could occur when touching the
appliance during this period.
Don’t place the unit close to curtains and/or other ammable objects. Otherwise
there will be a danger of the objects catching re.
Don’t cover the unit with anything during operaon or a short me aer it has
shut down. Always allow me for a cooling period aer use.
Don’t wrap the power supply cord around the unit.
The unit must be handled with care, avoid vibrang or hing the unit.
If the unit gets damaged, it must be repaired by professional electricians.
When the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized
agent or a professional electrician to avoid danger.

The heater is for household use only. It is not safe to use on a building site, in a
greenhouse, barn or stable where there is ammable dust.
The head of the heater works at high temperatures during operaon. Unplug the
unit and wait ll it has fully cooled before storing the appliance.
Do not use the heater in places where causcity or volale air exists, i.e. dust,
steam, gas, etc.
Do not use the heater as a clothes drier or towel drier.
Do not use the heater as a sauna heater.
Do not use the heater in place of animal propagang.
Do not immerse the heater into water for any reason.
Do not use the heater in areas where it can be exposed to gasoline, paint or
ammable liquids.
Aer use always disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Failure to do
so may result in injury to the user and damage to the appliance.
Do not use the appliance in an environment over 40°C.
The appliance is not intended to be used in bathrooms, laundry areas or similarly
moist indoor locaons. Always ensure the heater is placed in a posion so that it
is away from bath tubs etc.
If the appliance has fallen in water do not reach for it, immediately switch the
appliance o at the mains and unplug it.
Young persons should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance.
Do not run the cord under carpeng, throw rugs or runners.
Do not use the appliance with an external mer, programmer or any other
device that switches the heater on automacally.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertently re-seng the thermal cutout, the
appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a
mer or if the appliance has connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on
and o by the ulity.

Warning:
If the appliance is double insulated indicated by the double insulated symbol:
it should not have an earth wire or earth connecon.
Plug
The plug must be protected by the correct AMP fuse; this will be indicated on the case of
the plug. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. When changing the fuse always
replace it with a fuse that is of the same idencal rang as the original. If you are unsure
about which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualied electrician.
Please note aer replacing the fuse, ensure that the cover is correctly ed back onto the
plug. Never aempt to run the appliance if the plug does not have a cover. If a moulded
plug is ed and has to be removed take great care in disposing of the plug and severed
cable, it must be destroyed to prevent it from engaging into a socket.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by a service agent or a similarly qualied
person in order to avoid a hazard.
All of our electrical appliances conform to pre-exisng EC Direcves 2006/95/EC (Low
Voltage Direcve) and 2004/108/EC (EMC Direcves).

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To
return
your used device, please use the return and collecon systems or contact the retailer
where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe
recycling.

Maintenance
A common cause of overheang is deposits of dust or u becoming clogged in
the appliance. To reduce the collecon of dust, switch o the appliance, unplug
it and vacuum clean the air vents and grills when available.

correct terminals in the plug. If

markings idenfying the
terminals in your plug proceed as
follows:
The Live (Brown) wire
connects to the right- most
live (L) terminal nearest to
the fuse.
The Neutral (Blue) wire
connects to the le-most
neutral (N) terminal.
The Earth (Green and
Yellow) wire connects to the central, top most earthed (E) terminal.

For addional protecon, the use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a
tripping current not exceeding 30mA is recommended.
Remote control
The remote control supplied with the heater requires a “CR2032” 3-volt lithium baery.
To replace the baery:
1. Turn the remote control over so that the buons face the oor.
2. Pull out the tray of the appliance where the baery is stored.
3. Take out the used “CR2032” 3-volt baery and place the new baery in the tray
with the posive side facing downwards.
4. Fit the tray correctly back in the remote control.
Operang the remote control
Turn the remote control over so that the buons face the oor.
Pull out the tray of the appliance where the baery is stored.
Remove the plasc spacer between the baery and the terminal.
Make sure the baery is inserted with the + sign facing downwards.
Aim the remote control directly at the display of the heater.
Do not put any objects between the remote control and the heater while the
appliance is operang. Operate the remote control within a 3 meter range of the
appliance.
Note:
Always keep baeries out of the way of children.
Remove baeries from the remote control if the appliance is going to be stored
or not frequently used.
Baeries contain chemical substances and therefore should be disposed of
correctly. Seek advice from your local council on the correct disposal of the
baeries.
If there is a strong ambient light source present, the performance of the remote
control will be reduced.
If you suspect your child has ingested a baery, go to the hospital immediately.
Don’t induce voming or have your child eat or drink anything unl assessed by
a medical professional.

Buon conguraon
Using the appliance
1. Remove all packaging from the appliance.
2. Ensure that the voltage of the electrical supply matches that of the rang label
on the unit.
3. Place the appliance on a at, level surface.
4. Plug the appliance electrical cord into the electrical power supply.
5. Make sure the power switch on the back of the heater is switched to the on
posion .
6. Press the power on/o buon, the appliance will automacally be set at 21°C
using half power (1200W).
7. Please refer to the secons below for other funcons of the appliance.
Timer
1. To set the me follow steps 1-4 in “Using the appliance”.
2. Press “SET” and the display will now show displays 0 hours, increase the me in
hours using the “+” buon. Choose between 0-12 hours, the appliance will
automacally turn o aer the me has elapsed.
3. Press “SET” again to select the temperature and “SET” once more to conrm.
Power on To turn the appliance on and o.
SET Set both the mer and temperature.
HEAT Used to set the appliance to full or half power. Press once
to heat the appliance on a low seng (1200W) and twice
to heat the appliance on full power (2000W).
SWING Rotate the tower block.
+ Increase me and temperature when used in conjuncon
with “SET”.
- Decrease me and temperature when used in conjuncon
with “SET”.

Heat
When the appliance is turned on it will automacally be set at half heat (1200W), this is
shown in the display of the appliance. To increase to full heat press the “HEAT” buon
once (2000W).
Swing
During operaon press the “SWING” buon to oscillate the tower head. This will allow
for an even distribuon of heat throughout the room.
Over heang protecon
This product is manufactured with a thermal cut o protecon device that will
automacally cut o the appliance if it has excessive heat. Once the heater has cut-o
the appliance allow the heater to cool for 30 minutes. Remove any obstrucons to the
airow before restarng the heater.
Tip-over safety device
It is normal for the unit to have a slight rale this is because the appliance comes with a
p over switch. It will cut the power to the heater if the appliance is accidentally
knocked over. Avoid knocking over the appliance, stand back up immediately.
Care and cleaning
Always ensure the appliance has fully cooled down before beginning cleaning.
Remove the power cord from the electrical supply before beginning cleaning.
Avoid contact with the heated surface.
Do not spray the appliance with liquid for any reason.
Do not clean the appliance with harsh abrasive cleaning agents. Use a slightly
dampened cloth to clean the appliance.
Dry thoroughly before storage.
Store the appliance in its original packaging in a dry protected place, this will
protect it from dust.
