Quick Start Guide
Before first use:
Remove all packing materials and stickers from the inside and outside of the
Multi Cooker.
Wash all removable parts, except for the power cord and plug, with a sponge and
warm, soapy water.
The gasket, measuring cup, mixing spoon, ladle, steam rack and cooking pot
are dishwasher safe. The lid, pressure regulator knob and pressure cooker housing
are NOT dishwasher safe.
Dry all pieces before using. Read all instructions thoroughly.
1. Put 2 cups water into the cooking pot.
2. Ensure that the gasket is secure. Lock the lid into place.
3. Adjust the pressure regulator knob to the “Sealing” position.
4. Press the PRESSURE COOK button.
5. Use the and + buttons to set the Pressure Cooker for
2 minutes.
6. Press the PRESSURE LEVEL button to change the pressure
level from High to Low.
7. Press the START button.
8. Once the timer expires, the pressure cooker will beep 10 times
and switch to the Keep Warm function.
9. Release the pressure using the quick release method.
10. Once the floating valve drops, unlock the lid.
Careful: Hot condensation will collect on the inside of the lid.
11. Open the lid and rotate it 90 degrees over the cooking pot.
Once the condensation safely drips off the lid into the cooking
pot, place the lid into one of the Multi Cooker’s handles.
12. Use oven mitts to remove the cooking pot from the
pressure cooker.
13. Press the CANCEL button to turn Multi Cooker off.

Checklist
Is the gasket secured?
Are the protective coverings
for the floating valving and
pressure regulator knob free
from obstruction?
Do you have at least 1 cup
liquid in the cooking pot?
Is the lid properly locked
into place?
Is the pressure regulator knob
in place?
Is the pressure regulator knob
set to the “Sealing” position?
Get to know your Multi Cooker:
Perform the initial water test to verify proper function.

What to expect after you press START:
Right before the multi cooker comes to pressure, the multi cooker will begin to hiss and some steam will release from the
pressure regulator knob.
Once the multi cooker comes to pressure, the floating valve will pop up and remain lifted. The timer will also begin to
count down.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE LID WHILE THE FLOATING VALVE IS LIFTED.
Warning:
When pressure cooking, never fill the cooking
pot more than 2/3.
When pressure cooking foods that expand and
foam up a lot during cooking, like rice, beans,
lentils, pasta, cranberries, etc, never fill the cooking
pot more than ½.
Never attempt to open the lid while the floating
valve is lifted.
Never place hands or face over the pressure
regulator knob, especially when it is releasing
pressure.
Remember:
Preheating time varies based on the amount of ingredients in the
pot. Smaller volumes, like 1 cup of water and a handful of baby
carrots, will take less time to preheat than larger volumes, like a
16-cup soup.
The preheating time may be sped up by sautéing foods before
pressure cooking and heating the cooking pot.
There are two ways to release pressure:
Quick Release: Use tongs or a long-stemmed
utensil to turn the pressure regulator knob to the
“Venting” position. Use this method when you’re in
a hurry or when pressure cooking foods that
overcook easily like rice, vegetable, eggs, cakes,
pork chops, etc.
Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release on its own by not doing
anything. Once the timer expires and the heater is turned off, it will
simply dissipate as the temperature drops within the cooking pot. Use
this method to develop the deepest flavors and most tender textures.
The natural release method is best used with foods that benefit from
longer cooking times at a low temperature like short ribs or chili.
