. Overview

This Long Range Bluetooth Module provides Bluetooth

v2.1+ EDR capability for PS236 Extend Version models. It

supports SPP and HID profiles. The transfer distance can

be up to 600 meters for PS236-to-PS236 communications.

. Installation and Setup

1. Turn off PS236.

2. Remove the rubber cap on top

of PS236 by unfastening two

screws.

3. Align and insert the Mini-PCIE

connector of the module all

the way into the Expansion

Port of PS236.

4. Secure the module with the two screws previously

removed.

5. Turn on PS236.

and select Use

expansion port to use the newly

installed module.

When the module is in use by a

program, the or icon (if

Fn lock is also enabled) appears

in the navigation bar.

. Development

To utilize Long Range Bluetooth capability, you may use

appropriate APIs to develop your own application

programs.

Software Development Kits (SDK) and sample applications

for Long Range Bluetooth Module are available on Getac

website. You can download tools and applications from
