9. Line Buttons:
Line 1 Selects the Primary phone line.
Line 2 may provide access to:
o Secondary phone line.
o Speed-dial numbers.
o Voicemail indication.
o Missed calls.
Line Illumination Status:
o Green, steady: Active call
o Green, flashing: Held call
o Amber, steady: Private line in use
o Amber, flashing: Incoming call
o Red, steady: Remote line in use
o Red, flashing: Remote line on hold
10. Voicemail / Message Button: Log into Voicemail
11. Directory Button: Access Directories
A. Company Directory:
Press the Directories button
Select Corporate Directory using Navigation button
Using dial pad, enter search criteria, then press Search
Press Dial in order to call desired party
B. Missed, Received and Placed Call Log:
Press the Directories button
Select Missed Calls, Received Calls or Placed Calls
Navigate call using Navigation button
Press Dial softkey in order to dial highlighted number
C. Edit Dial: (Edit a number selected from a Directory or Call Log)
Press EditDial softkey
Use the << and >> softkeys to delete/add numbers
Press Dial softkey

14. Headset Button: Press to enable headset feature

Basic Phone Features
Advanced Phone Features
1. Basic User Information:
A. Placing an Internal Call:
Lift handset, dial the five-digit extension, or
Press the NewCall softkey, dial number (engages speaker phone), or
Press the NewCall softkey, dial number, lift handset, or Press Speaker
button.
B. Placing an External Call:
Lift Handset, Dial 9 and 1 + 10 digits or the 7-digit local number.
C. Ending a Call:
Replace handset or press the EndCall softkey.
D. Answering a Call:
Lift handset, or
Press the Answer softkey (engages speaker phone), or
Press the Speaker button.
E. Redial Feature:
Lift handset and press the Redial softkey or press the Redial softkey
with the handset on hook (engages speakerphone).
2. Call Back Feature:
While listening to ringing or busy tones, press the CallBack softkey.
A confirmation screen displays on the phone. Press exit to clear the
confirmation screen.
When person becomes available, you will receive an alert. A
notification will also appear on your screen.
3. Placing a Call on Hold/Resuming the Call:
Press the Hold softkey or Hold button.
To resume the call, press the Resume softkey.
4. Transferring a Call:
With a connected call, press Transfer softkey or the Transfer button.
Dial the extension to which you are transferring to.
Stay on the line to announce your caller or simply press the Transfer
button or softkey.
To retrieve the caller during the transfer process, press the EndCall
Softkey. Press the Resume softkey to connect with the original caller.
To transfer a call directly to voicemail, dial a star (*) prior to dialing the
extension of the person you wish to transfer to.
8. Conference Calling:
Conference (Join Multiple callers together)
Maximum participants - 16)
While connected to another party press the Conference softkey. The
caller will be placed on hold
Dial the number of another participant (internal or external)
Press the Conference softkey to join the calls.
Repeat above steps until desired or maximum number of
participants are included in conference call.
To combine existing calls that are already on your phone, press the
Conference button.
Press the Active Calls softkey.
Select the call want to add to the conference.
Press the Conference button or softkey.
Conference List (Standard Conference Calls Only)
While conference is in process, press More softkey.
Press the Show Detail softkey, Participants names and/or phone
numbers will be listed.
To remove conference participant, press Remove softkey
Only the conference call originator can remove
Press Update softkey to update the current list of participants.
6. Call Forward Feature: (Forward incoming phone calls to alternate phone number)
Press the Forward All softkey.
Dial forwarding target number exactly as you would dial from your
phone.
To cancel, press Forward All softkey again.
To forward your call to voicemail, preform the call forward feature and
press the messages button instead of an alternate number.
7. Call Park Feature: (Held call that can be retrieved from any Cisco IP Phone)
With call connected, press the Park softkey.
A 5-digit temporary extension will be displayed 8800 - 8879
To retrieve parked call: Dial the temporary extension on any Cisco
IP Phone
Note: After a 3-minute period call, will ring back on original phone.
5. Alternatives to Answering:
A. Decline:
Press Decline softkey in order to send caller to voicemail
B. Do Not Disturb:
Press the “Do Not Disturb” softkey to activate
Press the “Do Not Disturb” softkey to cancel
