INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Power source
Please use the supplied micro USB charge cable to connect the Classic DAB to power. This will also
charge your Classic DAB.
Getting started
1. Plug the micro USB charge cable into the Micro USB charge port (17)and connect the USB
to a power supply
2. The LCD display (10) will light up and the Classic DAB will automatically enter standby mode
General operation
Short press power (13) and the Classic DAB will turn on and enter DAB mode
Short press power (13) and the Classic DAB will return to standby mode and show the time
and battery indication
While in standby mode the LCD display (10) backlight will be dimmed
In any mode, to change the volume short press Volume+ (11) or Volume– (12)
Listening to DAB broadcast
Fully extend the Antenna (19)
Click Mode (5) until you reach DAB on the LCD display (10)
The Classic DAB will automatically search for a station
Once scan is complete the Classic DAB will select the rst station on the list and will automatically
set the time and date
To change station short press Previous (7) or Next (8) and leave on your required station
If no stations are detected the LCD display (10) will read ‘Not Available’
Note: Try another area if no station is found.
Manual Tune in DAB
When on DAB mode, you can manually rescan the area you’re in by simply short pressing Scan (6).
Listening to FM broadcast
Fully extend the Antenna (19)
Click Mode (5) until you reach FM on the LCD display (10)
Short / long press Previous (7) or Next (8) to nd your desired station
Short press Scan (6) to nd the nearest station with signal and the classic DAB will auto select

USB Playback
Click Mode (5) until you reach USB on the LCD display (10)
Plug in your USB stick into the USB Port (14)
Use Previous (7) and Next (8) to skip through your tracks
Micro SD Playback
Click Mode (5) until you reach TF Card on the LCD display (10)
Plug in your Micro SD card into the Micro SD card slot (15)
Use Previous (7) and Next (8) to skip through your tracks
Presets in DAB/FM
You can store up to 20 presets on the Classic DAB. 10 in DAB mode and 10 in FM mode.
Find your desired station using Previous (7) and Next (8) in either mode
Press and hold Preset (3) to enter programming mode
The LCD display (10) will show ‘<Preset Empty 1>
Short press Previous (7) or Next (8) to select desired memory location
Short press Select (4) to select that station
To select your preset
Short press Preset (3)
Short press Previous (7) or Next (8) until you reach your desired station
Short press Select (4) to select the station
Aux Input
Click Mode (5) until you reach Aux-in on the LCD display (10)
Connect an aux cable into Aux-in port (16)
Plug the aux cable into your device
Play the music through the Classic DAB

Playing through Bluetooth
Click Mode (5) until you reach Bluetooth on the LCD display (10)
The word ‘Pairing’ will show that the classic DAB is in pairing mode
Activate Bluetooth on your device, and select the speaker name ‘KS Classic DAB’ from the list
of found devices
If your device asks for a passkey then enter the digits ‘0000’ and press OK
When pairing is successful the LCD display (10) will say ‘Bluetooth Connected’
When connected via Bluetooth, you can either control the music through your device or use the Classic
DAB. If using the Classic DAB:
Short press Previous (7) or Next (8) to skip track
Short press Play / Pause (6) to play or pause a track
Pairing and repairing via Bluetooth
Once paired, the Classic DAB will automatically try to nd and connect to the last paired device
To re-enter pairing mode hold down Select (4) and wait for the beep. ‘Bluetooth connected’ with
change to ‘Bluetooth pairing (Flashing)
Time settings
The Classic DAB will take the time from the DAB or FM station. The time will be shown while in standby
mode by short press Power (13).
Battery settings
While connected through the Micro USB charge cable to mains power, the Classic DAB will remain
constantly charging. The LCD display (10) will show a battery icon in the top right hand corner.
This will show how much charge the radio has.

Care for your Classic DAB
Please DON’T:
Get the Classic DAB wet
Drop the Classic DAB as this will invalidate your warranty
Open up the Classic DAB. There are no user serviceable parts inside
Expose the Classic DAB to extreme temperatures or rapid changes of hot to cold or vice versa
Please DO:
Clean the Classic DAB with a soft dry cloth and no detergents
Setting the alarm
While in standby mode, press and hold Alarm (2) to enter alarm settings.
Short press Next (8) to ON and short press Select (4)
Short press Next (8) to select the hour and short press Select (4) on your desired hour
Short press Next (8) to select the minute and short press Select (4) on your desired minute
Short press Next (8) to select the mode (Once/Daily/Weekdays/Weekends) and short press Select (4)
on your desired mode
Short press Next (8) to select the alarm type (Beeper 1/Beeper2/DAB/FM) and short press Select (4)
on your desired type
Short press Next (8) to select the volume and short press Select (4) on your desired volume
In the top right hand corner of the LCD display, you’ll see the alarm icon to show your alarm is set
To turn o the alarm, hold Alarm (2) to enter settings, short press Next (8) to OFF and click Select (4)
Please note: The alarm will sound in any mode.
